George Hammer is a British entrepreneur known for founding Urban Retreat and launching several beauty brands in the UK, most notably Aveda in the early 90s. His businesses also include 'One Events' luxury London venue hire, the AA Rosette restaurant 'The Mayfair Chippy', the 'London School of Beauty and Makeup', and 'The Wedding Gallery' in Marylebone, London.
