I have went through the worst trial of my life this past year. So many people turned their backs on me. All my dreams were shattered. What I thought mattered doesn’t matter anymore. Me and my daughter were burnt in a house fire. My 5 year old daughter was burned on 55 percent of her body. She almost lost her life and her foot and part of her leg. But God! He spared her life and her foot and leg. She is alive today only because of the grace of God. I don’t know why she had to be burned, but I am still thankful. Some days I can barely make it through, because of all the pain in my life. I know that God will make beauty from ashes. I pray God’s will in my life, and that whatever I have to go through me and my family can be saved.

Last night I went to a youth rally near where I live. Lately I've been dealing with depression and su!c!dal thoughts, last night I wanted to d!e. I've been struggling to trust Him also. Broken.. This is an anointed song. I been a youth Minister, preacher, Bible quizzing assistant, played drums, sing. Medically I been broken just broken and I get to the point I don't want to be broken anymore, and I'm like God please don't break me anymore. I know I am a minister, but I just don't want to be broken anymore. Maybe I am wrong and that's fine I can take being wrong. I never sing about brokenness because I been broken in my past. This song has been such a sweet blessing to me. The following has been something I have wanted to put into a clear thought and words for some time now. Maybe this will help you as it has been a great help to me. Here goes: Forgiveness is an ongoing process. Many years ago I ceased using the word forgiveness in past tense form when referring to certain situations and people in my life. Recollecting or sharing how I “forgave” someone always seemed too complete when considering specific hurts in my life. In my first years of being a Christian, the Lord showed me that some hurts were so deep and contained such long-lasting effects that forgiveness could be given but would require frequent revisits. Sometimes when someone has harmed you in certain ways, the layers of how you have been effected will reveal themselves slowly over time. At times even surprise you. New life experiences or stages will reveal another aspect of the harm that was done within you. As the remanence of the harm done is more fully faced, then a deepening of forgiveness takes place. Every time, it will feel like an old wound is reopened. The pain will be just as real. However, as you allow the spirit of God to work, you will heal properly again. You will not remain damaged. It’s like a terrible burn of the skin. In order to properly heal, time must be given for the skin to grow and then scraped off to allow another layer of healing. Then, more time must be given for new skin to grow and again and again the process will go. The trick is to allow God to help you face the harm done every stage and step of the way. Not to run from or ignore it. Not to allow what the devil intended for evil to prevail. And certainly not to just resign and accept that the harm done has just simply left permanent negative results in the fibers of your being. But to be “beautifully broken” before the Lord so he can piece you together as He had always intended for you to be. I will refer to the climactic moment I forgave but I will emphasize how I find myself forgiving continually. Should I have left it alone in that one moment when I forgave, I would have been a statistic of abuse for the rest of my life. But the Lord showed me that I would need to revisit that forgiveness. That I would continually forgive so that God could do His work in me through the years. I am still growing, I am still surprised at times, and I am still forgiving as He alone gives the strength.

I wrote many songs and people who I trusted stole them and stole my money and left me desolate and alone. My own family and supposed friends. They stole some of my children too...I am broken beyond belief because of it! But, in the name of Jesus, I am healed...
My niece sang this song at our church JHP and wow it touched me. I had been going through so much, made a big move and moved from a state to another, got into an auto accident, then had to move out of a house in thirty days, that I just moved in, because the guy's new wife wanted to move in. I was so depressed and feeling so low, and asking God why? When she sang this song, I broke, God poured his love on me that night and reassured me everything was going to be alright. God had a plan for me. In that plan my youngest son came home from being in the wrong crowd, he got addicted to pills, he come home and got clean and praise the Lord, he has NOT touched them again. God knows what your going through and sometimes he just has to humble you until your beautifully broken as this song says. God will answer your prayers, and he will deliver out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Broken.. This is an anointed song. I been a youth Minister, preacher, Bible quizzing assistant, played drums, sing. Medically I been broken just broken and I get to the point I don't want to be broken anymore, and I'm like God please don't break me anymore. I know I am a minister, but I just don't want to be broken anymore. Maybe I am wrong and that's fine I can take being wrong. I never sing about brokenness because I been broken in my past. I'm just afraid to be broken anymore. Maybe a minister shouldn't say this, but brokenness doesn't feel good. Anointed song my friends.

I heard this song for the first time at AR Ladies Conference back in April. I can’t stop listening to it since then. It’s such a beautiful song and reminds me that no matter how broken I am or how broken I feel, God will pick me up and mend me again, making me His masterpiece. I am created beautifully in God’s image, by His hands.

This song has been such a sweet blessing to me. The following has been something I have wanted to put into a clear thought and words for some time now. Maybe this will help you as it has been a great help to me. Here goes: Forgiveness is an ongoing process. Many years ago I ceased using the word forgiveness in past tense form when referring to certain situations and people in my life. Recollecting or sharing how I “forgave” someone always seemed too complete when considering specific hurts in my life. In my first years of being a Christian, the Lord showed me that some hurts were so deep and contained such long-lasting effects that forgiveness could be given but would require frequent revisits. Sometimes when someone has harmed you in certain ways, the layers of how you have been effected will reveal themselves slowly over time. At times even surprise you. New life experiences or stages will reveal another aspect of the harm that was done within you. As the remanence of the harm done is more fully faced, then a deepening of forgiveness takes place. Every time, it will feel like an old wound is reopened. The pain will be just as real. However, as you allow the spirit of God to work, you will heal properly again. You will not remain damaged. It’s like a terrible burn of the skin. In order to properly heal, time must be given for the skin to grow and then scraped off to allow another layer of healing. Then, more time must be given for new skin to grow and again and again the process will go. The trick is to allow God to help you face the harm done every stage and step of the way. Not to run from or ignore it. Not to allow what the devil intended for evil to prevail. And certainly not to just resign and accept that the harm done has just simply left permanent negative results in the fibers of your being. But to be “beautifully broken” before the Lord so he can piece you together as He had always intended for you to be. I will refer to the climactic moment I forgave but I will emphasize how I find myself forgiving continually. Should I have left it alone in that one moment when I forgave, I would have been a statistic of abuse for the rest of my life. But the Lord showed me that I would need to revisit that forgiveness. That I would continually forgive so that God could do His work in me through the years. I am still growing, I am still surprised at times, and I am still forgiving as He alone gives the strength.

My niece sang this song at our church JHP and wow it touched me. I had been going through so much, made a big move and moved from a state to another, got into an auto accident, then had to move out of a house in thirty days, that I just moved in, because the guy's new wife wanted to move in. I was so depressed and feeling so low, and asking God why? When she sang this song, I broke, God poured his love on me that night and reassured me everything was going to be alright. God had a plan for me. In that plan my youngest son came home from being in the wrong crowd, he got addicted to pills, he come home and got clean and praise the Lord, he has NOT touched them again. God knows what your going through and sometimes he just has to humble you until your beautifully broken as this song says. God will answer your prayers, and he will deliver out of darkness into his marvelous light.
