There are a lot of people making content saying the sky is falling and it’s over for creatives. Those people don’t really care about other creatives, they are more concerned about their own engagement on social media. If it means scaring you - they’re OK with it 👀 so they tell you the sky is falling and it’s doomsday. because bad news travels quickly and good news is often a whisper. When people talk, ask yourself what their intentions are. It’s not always good. They are exactly the same as mainstream media news, on both sides. Change the channel.
Thank you Sir, valid input from your side. As a simple man I always strain from the word Artist, but perhaps I got bad understanding of what it means. I will always have doubts whether what I do makes any sense. I try to ask myself this why question and the only answer, in the moments of doubt, is that it's all connection, the moments we create, the energy and so. That is what keeps me doing what I do. I can be wrong though 🙂 and what I do has no value? Who knows...
I wish you were right. I really do. So much effort has been put into our lives. Trial and error. School of hard knocks. Still, unfortunately, there's simply nothing that a human will be able to do better than a machine. Maybe consciousness exploration (psychedelics, deep deep deep meditation, and the like). Look, watch videos that allow you to conceptualize exponential growth. Then come to terms with the reality that A.I. is improving exponentially. Here, I'll put it this way, kids starting school today will graduate from high school where there are no more human jobs. In other words, they are preparing for a world that will no longer exist. ... ... One of the hardest things to do is to reach acceptance. This is why it is the last stage of processing grief (Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance). Don't feel bad, denial is perfectly normal...and it's easy to be in this stage because AGI is still on the horizon. However, after you come to fully acknowledge exponential growth - you'll hopefully come to understand that AGI is coming fast. AGI will give rise to ASI (artificial super intelligence). ASI(s) will be smarter than the collective human capability. In other words, there will be nothing a human can do better than a machine --- job wise. What you are preaching may be good info for a little while, but in the end, it's a bad direction to go in. The sooner we, as a people, come to grasp what is coming, the sooner we can unite and create a system where we can survive and thrive. Good luck to you, to your audience, and your progression through the 5 stages of grief.
