The ferrum farm is by far the most needed one. And many thanks for the explanation that villagers need to sleep at least 1 night. Because this is why I could not make similarly designed farm to work (was in creative, testing the design and kept using command so the time is day, later changed the NBT so there was no day/night cycle).
Came for the chicken cooker and it's the best design I've found so far. Works perfect, only downside is I had issues breeding the chickens once they started getting a little cramped and could only breed two at a time. Ended up taking it apart to add more chickens manually, which was a bit of a pain but after it was stuffed full of chickens it's been working flawlessly. Make sure you add a whole bunch of chickens the first time!

I actually built all of this in Minecraft survival hardcore and me as a person who cannot build a simple wheat farm built all of these farms in under an hour it’s very easy you are very underrated you earned a sub buddy

I’ve had the iron farm built for awhile. Ow and not one iron golem has spawned. The chicken farm is now one that I build in every world but the iron farm is still a bust for me. I built everything correctly, no boards burned, no golems spawned, and most importantly... no iron was farmed -.-“
Any build that requires a trip to the Nether does not qualify as a "Starter Farm." I'd say it's an "Intermediate Farm" at the very least. Though, that iron farm is pretty sweet. It's so compact.
@@mushroomanimals You still need to get a diamond pickaxe and enough obsidian to to fix the portal. Plus, there's no guaranteeing that any given portal will take you to a Nether Wastes biome, which is the only one with quartz in it, meaning you'll more than likely have to trek through a bunch of hostile terrain to find some. Again, not the sort of thing you'd want to do for a "Starter" farm.
You can go to the nether with just 4 iron ingots, 3 for a bucket and one for the flint and steel, find a pool of lava and some water, and then just make the portal making the obsidian in the shape of the portal, it's not that hard

For the chicken farm, if you don't want cooked chicken (let's say you are trading with butchers), you can simply not put the lava dispenser in and put a block where it is, and a block over the slab, so the chickens with suffocate and give raw chicken. (I believe this may work. Gotta check it out)

Maybe with zombie it will work great 😀!! Precautions needed to bulid iron farm :- 1. Use one type of stone to build iron man kill chamber, i tried cobal stone and stone result iron spawn out side of kill chamber!! 2. Don't change or modified iron farm.
Love the iron farm. I added a zombie to it which may or may not have improved production (I'm getting about 3 stacks of iron per hour) which is plenty for a solo survival world. I don't know what it would have produced without it but I had a named zombie sitting around from a different farm build that only worked for one night so thought I would put him to use.
@@reecepatterson7186 Make sure the villagers sleep first. As I said I added a nametagged zombie in a little box so they could see it, so not sure if it helped get them spawning them or not as I don't think I even tried it without the zombie. Could be worth a shot.
@@vryko8567 yes they have slept first but continued no iron golem spawning. I am on bedrock and I searched up something and it said iron golems only spawn with atleast 10 villagers. Is this correct for bedrock?
You need five and the precise layout. It works much better about ground because the golom spawns at a radius so if it’s underground it could spawn in a cave or abouvebground
@@azumi5929 it needs to be in its own place because the villagers in the farm wont make a golum if they can see one in the village they are near. so make it pretty isolated.

I’ve tried the iron farm a few times now. No luck. Even tried in a barren creative world without success. 1.18 Xbox Bedrock I was able to get a single cat to spawn, but no golems after waiting WAY too long.
I tested these 3 farms on Bedrock 1.18 with Xbox One: Chicken farm - works great Bee farm - works, but you need to open the bottom so bees can get out of hive Iron farm - not working. I got a couple cats but nothing else.

@@dabid1357 no, bedrock has different way of defining a village. You need 20 beds, 20 workstations, and 20 villagers. At least in my experience.

Not necessarily because of the ruined portal, normally has armour and other things(flint n steel, obsidian, etc..)

1) Does it need 5 villagers, or can it operate with less?
2) Will this work if it's buried deep underground?
