The thing is... We are always expecting that you are on a break, so every time you put out a video, it's a positive surprise. We would much rather that you don't have a schedule - you can make three videos within a month, bc you feel inspired, and then not make anything for the next half year, and we will be with you all the way.
This is going to sound so parasocial, but I teared up like 30 seconds in because of how nostalgic this is. You were such a comfort to me a few years ago when I was going through some really outrageous things.

Emma has really mastered the art of melancholy. There are so many moments in this video that remind me of several scenes from The Graduate - the face fall, the blank stare, the listless sigh. Like Nichols & Hoffman, Emma knows how to capture and almost romanticize those pockets of numbness and ennui we all experience. It's how - even as we watch her move around her multi-million dollar home - we still relate to her.

i never comment on youtube videos but I had to just now. the clip where you're doing your makeup for dinner. "something looks off... i don't care." THAT is what I needed to hear. it is okay for things to not always look perfect, it is still beautiful. whatever you saw that looked off, we didn't see it. you looked amazing, like you always do. thank you for that reminder that it is okay to just move on and not stress those little "off" things. love u emma.

I was lucky enough to meet Emma last year in may on Heathrow airport and she is genuinely such a kind and nice human. didn't talk much as I was really shy, but sometimes it's enough to feel a person's energy to realise how special they are. I hope she will achieve whatever she wants in this life and that she's happy, she really deserves it.

This made me think of being in my early twenties. Obviously wasn’t doing what you’re doing! But… getting dolled up to be with friends, wanting desperately to find the party - which usually ended up with just getting snacks at the corner store, while also being alone a lot of the time. Contemplating life, the day to day, finding my groove in a new era of my life. This is such an “Emma” video because she does not mask her era with the “stuff” and money she has accumulated. She exists as a 21 year old, as we all must, and have, and will, someday. Thanks for that.

I think the reason Emma stays so relevant and relatable is because though her content has evolved, she hasn't changed due to the fame. It's really admirable.
