I've been working on something similar - except the photo is in full color natively and gets a conditional color overlay on hover. This video was SO helpful, thank you!!
Well done sir. I prefer these types of videos. Building cards is a common occurrence, wouldn't it be great if Bricks did some of the heavy lifting with some kind of Card module. This process just takes wayyyy too long (in my opinion).
Maybe, but in practice it takes much shorter than the video, that’s because I had to explain what I’m doing. Even faster if you use css instead of using the builder controls.
@@DesignwithCracka That's true. I guess if I was using Bricks as my main builder I could create my own and save it to some kind of template library for future projects?
@@DesignwithCracka The other benefit of your method, is you can then apply it to whatever you like. The cards can be in any layout, it could be wrapped in a hero section, a CTA even a Fullscreen nav. I actually hope Bricks doesn't clutter itself with too many "widgets".
Nice aproach ! Didnt know that hack when you apply hover and change other classes ! But why didnt you do it with css? And most important: are you teaching how to code to those kids? Hahaha 😂
I LOVE how that shadow drops down when the picture zooms. Such a nice effect!
Amazing, I just learned how to enlarge an image on hover, and so simple to create this effect! Thanks for sharing!
"class names are a pain the ass" I felt that... 😑Great job again, Cracka!

Looks great and well done.
What is confusing for me is, when you applied text color on Id level, why does it only afftect the card, when it's hovered?
hey, when you wanted to paste something, there was a list of elements in the clipboard. What programm or shortcut is this?
Windows clipboard feature. Activated by windows key + V

The idea was to do most of it with native Bricks features.
