- In this video, "Share bazaar में किस sector में हमे invest करना चाहिए ? Know the sectors to invest एक example के साथ ", Mr. Vivek Bajaj talks about ways to identify the right sectors for you to invest in the stock market.
He will begin the video with a description of two methods of investing. The Top-Down approach and the Bottom-Up approach.
The top-down approach means analyzing the macro-economics of a country first. Followed by a sectoral and then a company specific analysis.
Under a bottom-up approach, you decide which company you want to invest your money first, then do an analysis of the sectors and finally the macro-economics of the region.
In the next part of the video, we will focus upon a top-down approach to investing. Mr. Bajaj will discuss the ways to identify a right sector for yourself.
He will discuss the importance of having an edge in the markets by knowing more about a certain sector. He will also emphasize the need to invest in sectors that you are familiar with to have an advantage over others.
Then the speaker will discuss the 3 types of sectors of an economy. Cyclical Sectors, Growth Sectors and Value Sectors. He will also give an example of a from a real sector to make you understand each type of classification better.
After a detailed guide on each sector with examples, the speaker will focus on talking about the real estate sector extensively. He will discuss ways by which this sector has been benefitting in recent times and also discuss whether one should invest in it.
Then the speaker will also discuss how you can identify particular stocks from each sector and how you should analyze them with their peers. He will talk about financial ratios such as Market Cap, Return on Equity and the Price to Earnings ratio.

Vivek, Funda is known to all but usage even using StockEdge is difficult for most investors. Sector and industry ranking would help. Also cyclical or seasonal sector or industry entry/exit info with reason would make StockEdge an intelligent tool
