He aces every genre of dancing and he is the one to bring contemporary dancing to the k-pop industry with his performance deep breath in 2013/2014. Meanwhile, taemin is a skillful pro specialized in popping but he hasn't trained as long as kai did so he doesn't have the same elements that kai has even tough he can Master all genres too.
Kai is the only idol i know who is not following the trend but making his own trend instead. He is so unique and absolutely the best dancer in the industry

공연장 멀리에서 보는 것과는 다른 몰입감과 뭔가 춤에 더 집중할 수 있었던 영상같아요. 실제 공연장에서 봤을때가 생각나요 첫콘 아이씨유 무대가 끝나고나서 공연장이 정적에 휩싸였던. 카이가 저렇게 들어가고나서 좀 후에야 터져나오던 박수와 환호 그 소름을 잊을 수가 없네요 재원님.. 엑소 콘서트 다시해주세요 여태 콘서트들과 익플은 참 느낌이 다르더라구요 재원님 스타일에 조금 익숙해졌나봐요ㅠㅠ
