- Mr. Bentzion Rader, a registered accountant for almost forty years, was surprised to learn that the financial advice he gave to an acquaintance who wanted to increase his contributions to charity was vetoed by the Rebbe. As events unfolded, he realized that the Rebbe must have his own sources.

Here's my take on this and what really happened - Nigel Lawson (J) was the UK chanc. of the Exch for quite some time. I expect his tenure may intersect with this little business. Gd did not tell the Rebbe. The Rebbe asked Lawson through an intermediary... what was going to happen with donations in the UK tax system in the near future... I 'd put money on that. I have not checked the dates but I'd say so. Tim Fidler in NZ. Lawson's grandfather was Leibow. His daughter is Nigella Lawson the cook.
The Rebbe answers every questions from the Torah. Baruch Hashem.

I'm Catholic, not Jewish, but I have been doing lots of research into the Rebbe.
He was a great man. I was watching some videos of him distributing the dollars. The little bits of wisdom is something that shows what a wonderful man he was.
I had tears in my eyes watching some of it. We should all be greatful that someone had the foresight to film him, as his teaching and wisdom is something we can all use today.
Yes, powerful Ruach HaKodesh, boruch Hashem. Hashem makes the sages brilliant. Boruch Hashem!
