Upright Washtub Bass with California Feetwarmers - Tiger Rag

I call this bass a “Single string Double gutbucket”. It is made from 2 old washtubs, a piece of used plywood paneling, an old Louisville Slugger baseball bat for the neck, and the string is weedwacker line. It is played using a combination of stretching the line by tipping the entire instrument back, and fretting, pinching the line against the baseball bat neck. I’m not a musician or in a band, I just like having a beer and playing along with songs on the stereo.
