Great vintage film footage. Thanks for bringing it forward. A truly special time. I’ve seen a lot of video from this period of time but this was all new to me.
I did recognize a few of people in the videos, Eric Broadley, John Wyer. Drivers Phil Hill, Richie Ginther, Roy Salvadori. But the real great part was all those unknown fabricators and craftsmen, that are such an integral part of the story, they created those machines from flat sheets of metal, lengths of tube, and all the other raw materials that make up such a car. The racing was from Le Mans in '64, the beginnings of a legendary story.
Imagine the construction drawings that went with this project, both the creation of the drawings and the skills it took to turn those ideas into a viable racecar.
