Fixing and Restoring this 1977 Grundig C350 Automatic cassette recorder.

This very cool looking Grundig cassette recorder is almost 50 years old but it needs some work.
Can we fix it?

Merry Christmas Ade!!! Great to see this being fixed. Damn pesky wire. I’ve got. Pioneer KP707G car stereo tape deck here. It needed a new belt, and one channel in the amplifier was not working. I soon found the problem. The output ic had packed up. I sourced a new one, installed it, and tape deck fixed. Those car tape decks are still fetching good money.

They used to make these at Grundigs Penge factory in south London which is how we got ours having a cousin working there we got "back door prices" on that and few other bits and handy almost next to Penge East station which was kinda rich/poor divide with the posh people on the Sydenham side and the rough sorts on the other side hehehe I remember a BBC friend who used to call Penge "pengay" and Clapham "cla'am" posh tart she was....

When I was a kid, I did that with a Tandy Micronta multimeter...it went BANG!!!
