When it comes to TOP Valorant highlight videos, we like to do things differently compared to other highlight channels on youtube. First of all myself, like to edit the thumbnails/clips with funny memes and back ground music. The editing allows me to add value to the clips while showing my creativity, how they are either fail, epic or funny moments. This gives the watchers a deeper understanding of what is going on in the clips. By editing the clips myself and giving them "my own touch" I am able to present a more fast paced and enjoyable experience for the viewers.
While editing I add music to the clips in the video. On top of that I edit and cut the videos to fit my style of content, on top of that I am a big fan of adding memes and other relevant gimmicks to provide a better overall experience for the viewers.
I provide the link to every submitters channel in the description while showing their name on screen throughout the video.

Nope, the real Aspas wasn’t even playing. It's rare to see a 30-round match where Aspas doesn’t get 30 kills-that's way too uncommon for him. So, I think he was asleep during both matches.

Like yeah eco rounds are basically throw away rounds, but theres always the chance to get a pick or two or even win it..
But for a team like G2 can definitely win an eco round since their teamwork skills are just really good.
Yea there's no reason doing this in late rounds they should've tried at least. Unlike their match on icebox, they almost won every ecos, here they just gave up.
And give 5 picks to the opponents potentially giving them a Jett or Harbor ult for a bonus when you're already down 9-4? Doesn't make much sense. Blame riot for putting a map like this in a game like Valorant

@def4646 what he meant was that in round 2 teams usually buy sheriff/spectre, with rifles sometimes. It is definitely easier to win round 2, than a full buy (rifles, utilities and full shields).

If you’re down that much I think you have to take the chance of winning an eco but if not it’s a smart strategy
I think the only issue i have with doing this is that they are down 9-4, giving orbs isn't relevant when you are that down, cause you gave them a 10-4, and if you lose that round you are done for, plus with good picks worse case lev gets orbs, but you also get orbs. Opposite to deny orbs, but lessen your chances

Bro it's abyss. Aspas is going to have knives next round because he's literally going to farm the classics from 30 meter sightlines. Most maps eco is a lot easier since util has more impact, but it's abyss. What are they going to take mid control with? A viper wall? They'll get flushed out, pushed back, and die to the vandel/ bulldog. They can't hold space with worse guns, and they can't take space without util, both of which completely fuck up their econ.
I feel like people aren't thinking this through enough.

It really only works on Abyss because of the map layout. Its easier to convert thrifties on haven because you have so many close corners and spots for potential upsets. Abyss has too many line of sight fights in order to sucessfully defend.

You would never do this at a much closer score of 7-6/8-5 because you can afford for the enemy team to get orbs and economy in a closer game state. At 9-4, you most likely lose this round anyways and expecting to win a thrifty is far worse than expecting to win the 10-4 round with guns. Its only in hindsight that people say its bad because they lost the game. But had they won the game you all would have said it was a goated strat.

They absolutely had to do it right off the bat. Abyss is very much attacker sided Orb wise. Both orbs are planted in areas where the defending side has to use util and engage in combat to protect or even stop the taking of ult orbs. Jumping at the start stops LEV from getting those orbs.

Yes that is very much true. But would you rather bet on winning an eco or the next round with gun advantage. To even attempt to win eco, yould have to use util, buy a few sheriffs. If you do that and still lose the round, youre down economy from using util and buying sheriffs. You'd start your gun round with being forced to buy Vandal/phantom with little to no util.
Could have used the round for a pseudo timeout or atleast damage especially down 9-4. I mean orbs doesn't matter if you give the enemy a free round.

The most likely scenario of this round, LEV kills all 5, lose 1 player, plant the spike, and get an ult orb from pickup.
This means they would have got 7 orbs total (1 plant, 5 kills, 1 pickup), they will have got alot of additional credits (200 per kill, 300 EACH for spike plant) 2500 to be exact, and they only would have likely lost 1 of their players... 3/5 of their team didn't even have 2500 of loseable material (I.E Guns/Armour)
Saying "You could win" is a gamblers fallacy, you don't play for the lowest odds. If you take risks constantly, you would swing every smoke dry hoping they're not holding it.
I understand the argument "Take risks to win when you're behind" but 10-4 you can argue is not as behind as it looks on paper considering it should become 10-5 after the 3rd round.
They likely had alot of strategy they were confident in for their defense side that they wanted to give the best possible odds of winning, and not putting hope on an eco going their way.
g2 had a good amount of thrifties the map before this. also 10-4 is pretty behind and you should definitely at least try to play for picks and then die to spike after to get ult orbs at the very least. or you could just hide and run the timer down and if theres any threat of dying you just jump off the map. that way you can use the round as a "timeout" to prepare for the next round.

@@jaydon7392 I don't disagree with the idea, but playing for picks and dying to spike is a best case scenario. When there is another professional team on the other end of that idea, they're not necessarily going to just let you die to spike.
Also, if you don't die relatively quickly into the round, they're just going to get the spike down... Thats +1500 for the enemy team for doing literally nothing in the way of changing the outcome of the round.

You don't give ult orbs but you haven't damaged the enemy one bit, didn't waste their util or anything. They don't get uly orbs but they get economy boost. Also they could've used that time to discuss stats instead, make lev second guess themselves.

Since some people were bringing up cs, this used to be a strat back in 2014 to use on second round to stop the enemy team from getting the high kill reward that smgs give, but it was banned by all tournament organizers because it was considered unsportsmanlike and just created for a less enjoyable viewer experience.

IEM events banned intentionally dying but this ruling was reverted only a couple days after because it was basically unenforceable

A better strategy is just to stack 1 site, if they don’t come to your site to plant, then jump.
this way the enemy might lose abilities if they run the clock down a bit before jumping down. the gamble is they have to go in to stack or they all jump

they could just hide in spawn and talk out stats while running the clock down, try to waste enemy abilities as much as possible the max orb they get is 2 then so be it they can jump afterwards. its a free timeout they can chill and talk strats.

To be fair, Sen has incredibly high eco round wins compared to G2 or other teams. So Tenz will definitely be against this type of strat as he's immensely confident even on an eco.

they value the gold and orb I guess let us say you stack a site you get killed thats money and if they plant another money for whole team and if you are on a winstreak there is less money in the next round and in 2nd round enemy is not full on vandal they have spectre bulldog and maybe one or 2 vandal which can be converted in the next round

This is a very common strat in cs, except you can't do it as easily in that game. (You have to wait for the other team to throw a molly). And abyss is the hardest map to get a thrifty on with a full eco, due to long angles and quick flooding of the site.

Every team competing will try to read each other to counter them better. Waiting eco defense to make a move is one of them, as you said, the map favor long angles. Therefore, FNC had the option to use their time to just let G2 open some playbook that THEY DON'T HAVE TO FIGHT, THEY CAN STILL DO THE JUMP AFTERWARD.
You fail to remember that every Agent in Valorant are given one free utility every round, that not only stall the plant, but force enemy to react, including using their own free AND paid utility.
So once again I say, THEY DON'T EVEN BOTHER. "Deny plant this round? Let's fast forward to next round!" Fuck off.

People are overreacting about this like crazy. They don't want lev to get anything from it, no orb, no plant/ult point, no money etc. This play is probably the best scenario given that they need every advantage possible to even attempt a comeback. Giving over ult points and attempting to play slow for picks and shit will only put lev further economy wise, and ult wise.

Down 9-4 and giving a round when ecos are always winnable in this game is just brainless and cowardly. No eco damage dealt and no ult orbs to yourselves on top of that just make this incredibly shameful.
G2 team always bounces back when they're down bad, but here they are not just giving themselves a free round; they’re giving other team more confidence. I think everyone understands that play, but still, bro, you can’t do this shit in a pro match. I don’t know if there’s any internal conflict that makes them lose confidence, but I have to say that if any team can bounce back from that position, it would be G2. Unfortunately, they seem to have stopped believing in themselves somehow.

Do people not know you get ult orbs from dying. G2 can rush kill 1-2 and end the round 6 or 7 ult orbs on each side because of it and also do economic damage before spike plant goes down.. could even win the round if extremely lucky. It’s the same with spike plant people don’t understand if you plant spike after time and survive you still get max money not just the normal 1000 credits for surviving I see people in radiant who still don’t know these things..

I get the strat, is a valid play and kind of has a payoff on those ult orbs and a reason to be done, but what i can't get behind of is that this feels like throwing and a bit disrespectfulnto the other team that's getting heated and locked in for the round.
On a more game aspect take, as the caster said, you dont give them ult orbs, money of kills, kills and ult points and its a "throwable" round, but it's still a round you are giving them and it gets them closer to victory so i feel like it's not worth using it anyways and beats the meaning of the game.

Then why did Riot make a map where you can fall off? Valorant especially isn't suitable for a map like this because jumping off is simply better than giving away ult orbs
@@speedforce8970 They made it just to be different, like calling Clove a non binary. Any other map, in this situation, you either stack a site and/or late rotate and die via explosion. Nothing else. Doing this, more so series point and the score on the map, does nothing.

It's not the player's fault and besides, dying to spike is much harder than just falling on a big map like this because teams will try to chase you down to get ult orbs. It's Riots fault, not the players.

All 5 jumping start of the round cannot be good 9-4… try something, maybe do some damage, get some util wasted, jump if it’s still unwinnable, or try if it looks winnable. Understandable play, but so extremely unoptimized.
