What i did and reopen my browser internet protection will accidently be shut off as some might forget they tempotemporarily shut it off. some times its not noticed when windows warns it needs to be turned back on and leads to a bunch of problems and browsing unnecessary bait sights.@@StatusBoxJH

both options dont work, in the first windows defender security center doesnt exist and the second is already set on "not configured", what should i do?
Right! 360 Total security is a rip off and slows down my CP and keeps butting in the way asking for money. I foolishly paid a year for speed up and windows problem browsers repair does absolutely nothing. I knew for years it might be more a scam but gave up trying it any way. I'll try another one but need to make sure I don't have a hidden virus protection with out niotice.

reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender" /f;Set-MpPreference -UILockdown 0;
Restart computer

1st method I cant find the windows defender security center in which it only shows Windows Defender and Windows Advance threat protection in which none of them have the virus and threat protection although the second one it was already disabled for me and it still didnt work my microsoft version is currently at 22H2 i dont know what i am doing wrong

there is only one folder in Windows Defender. Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Policy Manager. gpedit is not opening in win 11 home.

Neither solution worked for me. Also, the virus and threat protection does appear for me under the list of protection areas in the Privacy & security settings window, but when I click on it and it takes me to the Windows Security window with the security at a glance, it is not there and it gives me an error saying "Page not available" Your IT has limited access to some areas of this app, and the item you tried to access is not available. Contact IT helpdesk for more information. This is my private computer and I am listed as an admin on it so why is this not working?

edit: reinstalled windows without deleting personal files and apps and now everything is working fine

There's no need to go to regedit. Just open the powershell as admin, then enter this command:
reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender" /f;Set-MpPreference -UILockdown 0;
After that, restart your computer.

Hello, i tried following this guide but i still didnt find what was needed, in the 1st solution the file for windows defender simply isnt there and for the 2nd solution all i have is gpedit.dll which doesnt do anything

I followed your steps, my problem is when I try to make quick scan it starts but stays at 00:00 and no files checked, and when I try the real time protection ant others it stays off, and can't put it on. Stay blocked with off. Can you help me please?
Seems more of a bait video can't aswer simple problems it say's it can fix.
There should be some other factor effecting it. It did not worked for me.

It's maybe because you have Windows 10 Home edition
Person above me is right. There is a way of installing it though, search it up.
