Don’t get too excited - we Indians aren’t getting most of these features, but yeah, we do get the privilege of paying almost 30L more than it’s available in the West.
For those who are wondering and wishing for Diesel, AWD or even Petrol, it will cost you anywhere b/w 65-70 lacs depending on your state RTO. So all the very best for it 👍 PS : Coming from someone who drove Skodas since 2002, current one is 11th.
While most of the companies blindly go for connected tail lamps just for the sake of lunatic trend even if it looks ugly , skoda still retains the split ones. AND Physical knobs for ac controls rather than annoyingly idiotic touch controls... Much appreciated SKODA 👍
The AWD is the real game changer if it comes. No other car offers that in that price range combine that with the diesel option and accurate pricing skoda will have an ace up the sleeve.
@@AnonymousPirate98 Technically speaking no FWD Turbocharged sedan makes sense at least for an auto aficionado. The octavia will never be offered in a RWD setup.
Skoda superb addresses a very niche market and that's a market which prioritises luxury and smoothness over mileage. The diesel and the hybrids should be brought in the lower end cars of Skoda and that will be a game changer.
Thank you so much for no connected headlights, connected tail lamps, connected instrument + infotainment -- thanks for keeping these separate and elegant. Thanks a lot for not keeping the physical buttons inside the cabin unlike useless touchscreens in trend.
If its going to come to india through CBU route ans would cost over ₹50 lacs, Skoda should definitely bring 4x4 to justify the price tag. Else, there would be nithing exclusive in the new Superb over Camery to justify that sticker price.
Im genuinely curious how this car makes sense at its price point? The Superb's usp was its value as a full size sedan. Now, its even more expensive than the Camry, which is a hybrid and has a better ownership experience.
Hi, Autocar India Channel and host, Congratulations!, Skoda India for the relaunch of Supurb sedan, hoping them a success. The reason of VW group market failure is only fuel guselling petrol engines. If Skoda India is considering of introducing Diesel Engine options with hybrid technology, it'll be a game changer. The minuscule sales of Skoda Slavia, Kushaq, Kodiak and Octavia are the prime examples, plus same for VW Taigun, Virtue and Tiguan. In Europe VW groups offers all engine options, but in India why so conservative?, lost whole market, despite having best automotive making experience. So sad! Looking forward to Channel.
Skoda was speaking so much about India and the India 2.0 strategy to drive up sales etc. Now they want to import the Superb (again without hybrid tech) and attracting crazy taxes. No wonder Skoda is struggling with sales in India. Not to mention the high service / maintenance cost....
Bharat Mobility Show 2025 is an expo where the the vehicles are "state-of-the-art" but our are roads are an "art-of-the-state" making more people to go in for the jacked up cars: so called "SUV's"...
Camry is 57 lakhs on road and with obvious discounts ± 50 lakhs. Why would someone consider Superb but not A4 ? Both are European and both have higher than standard running costs !
The only advantage A4 has over this Superb is brand value and power figures are similar As far as advantages of skoda is considered its servicing is much more affordable than an Audi (my friend has two) and skoda is also introducing many service care packages and also 4x4 The interior of Superb are better (IMO atleast) and outer looks are always subjective Cons- CBU prices are gonna hurt and people would prefer Camry as its luxurious as well

Thanks to Nirmala Sitharaman 😂
I googled it and it costs €48325 in EU. ~43L INR. 30L more? I might be wrong but where did you get this information from?
@@SSUpadhyay-c6h Oh sorry then, its not 30L it will be 43L more 🤣 if it comes as a cbu unit (100% import duty)
But they just said 55L ex showroom right?
Maybe I’m misunderstanding something, nvm. Not really a fan of the excessive import duties either 😅
Feels so good to see the physical knobs
props to the new sound engineer at autocar india now it sounds a lot surreal than before and that galvins voice so soothing
Diesel is Back 🔥🔥🔥
Skoda should bring diesel engines to India in all the cars which will boost their sales in Indian market
the BS6 diesels are pretty sad.. not much punch left in them..

I think Octavia makes more sense with RWD than Superb

Just saw this beauty in-person today at the expo, boy does it have looks! ❤️

Superb as always ❤
Any update on Kushaq or Karoq?
Thank you so much for no connected headlights, connected tail lamps, connected instrument + infotainment -- thanks for keeping these separate and elegant. Thanks a lot for not keeping the physical buttons inside the cabin unlike useless touchscreens in trend.
I would definitely buy the Skoda 2.0 TDI if it comes in the AWD without batting an eye (subject to it being reasonably priced)
If its going to come to india through CBU route ans would cost over ₹50 lacs, Skoda should definitely bring 4x4 to justify the price tag. Else, there would be nithing exclusive in the new Superb over Camery to justify that sticker price.
Skoda superb diesel engine back ❤..
Im genuinely curious how this car makes sense at its price point? The Superb's usp was its value as a full size sedan. Now, its even more expensive than the Camry, which is a hybrid and has a better ownership experience.
Skoda diesels were beautifull
Front portion is so beautifully designed
What the hell happened to the instrumental console placement - seems the designer were smoking pot 😂
Hey Look, Skoda Superb, the newTaxi range for the G.C.C. has been unveiled.
Because of the CBU it will cost very close to C-Class which may not work in India. CKD at 40-45L would be a decent range.
Why these cars don't have ventilated seats at the back?
Love to see this , am few among those who loves sedans and don’t like SUVs
about time the "no diesel" nonsense ends. btw, the kodiaq needs diesel even more urgently

They should definitely get the 2.0 TDI to India with the premium models like Kodiaq and The Superb.

Skoda cars are the best but do we have roads to match them?
Even if they launch it in limited numbers and even if it’s very expensive, it’ll still get sold out. The Superb has no competition. It is peerless.
Sedan colour is 😘 i think its mountain mist gold ✨️
It looks too good. If I had the need for a luxury sedan, this will be one of the first cars that will come into my mind.
Superb ws held back al this time mainly to protect audi sedan sales.
Simple logic.
Has anyone heard about paper horses?
How we indian customers will get all wheel drive( 4×4) skoda superb. If skoda not launch 4×4 model In india.
Camry starts @48 lakh ex showroom should’ve matched that !
Kushaq should also look like this. Very elegant

it is going to be north of 55+28%gst and not many people will actually end up buying it
Skoda is becoming the next BMW and BMW is becoming like some shit....
Why the hell headlamp washer removed
Bring all the Sedans back ❤❤
On road 55L would be good.
Diesel a must for India. Otherwise forget the numbers.
Did he say sunroof for Indian customers?
For that Superb 2.0 Lit Diesel 👍
Just superb❤
All of us love sedans 🤗😊
Superb Car ❤
The back light design looks so dated .. it’s like the designer hired his junior to do that bit!
A Diesel is a diesel is a diesel. I miss diesel.
Headroom looks non existent on the back seat 😮
Skoda superb should come with a shaving kit for gavin dsouza
You should have talked about Diesel Engine first .
People have been waiting
It.
would love to see a diesel!
Why don't skoda make it in India ?
Skoda please bring all model with diesel then no one beat you.
Bro bored the taillight from Renault Fluence
In no world would i choose superb over c class even if theres compr. on space
No ADAS 😮 Bummer!
55l so on road probably around 70l ! Then bmw 3series would be a great option !😂
D1 and D2 segment is dead in India.
for 60 lakhs ???? Why dont get BMW 330i
Its handsome
A diesel hybrid? 👁️👄👁️
It's time to move superb

@PS-ug7nm True ! But if someone's already stretching ± 60 won't he be more aligned towards A4 since those buyers are mostly chauffeured around ?
Nitin elephant will cry😂
When Skoda changes it's front grill, looks outdated now,
If this will cost 55 lakhs, I’d rather go with BMW 2 series
Better than audi a4
If hybrid, tough competition to camry.
Wow
Skoda should bring back diesel engines...
BMW real Compitator..
Diesel much needed
Skoda really shouldn't bother with Superb and Kodiaq for India.. with BMW iX1 LWB at 49 lacs ex or 11 lac downpayment... nobody's gonna buy Skoda..
36lakhs ex showroom new superb
Camry better look
the old grilll is far far far far better than this grillll....this grill looks like slavis's
Taxation will make it dead on arrival.
Again same front grill in 2025, v bad
cheapy luxury?!
Kitna ganda steering wheel hai yar ulti aagyi , please 2 spoke sexy steering wheel le aao na , please daddy skoda
