My god.... that black with red interior is very classy! Lexus needs to offer custom painted brake calipers in this price-point. Red calipers would make this car sizzle!

I own a 2018 LC. Not a big fan of the TOUCH SCREEN for 2024. Taking your eyes off the road while traveling at 130 feet per second is dangerous. You can get dead quickly. Not sure why LC owners were too lazy to learn VOICE COMMAND. In the five years of ownership, the trackpad in my car is almost never used. Once the MENU/SETUP was completed by me, there has seldom been a situation to use the trackpad. Using the very dangerous TOUCH SCREEN is no different than TEXTING on your smart phone while driving which is against the law in many, if not all states. It's hard to figure out why people smart enough to buy the finest car in production today aren't smart enough to learn about 20 VOICE COMMANDS. This black convertible is beautiful nevertheless in spite of the "stuck on" screen. I hope whoever buys this car takes the time to learn VOICE COMMAND and doesn't use the TOUCH SCREEN.

Honestly, i liked old interior better, i need a car that has a lot of buttons as they are part of the design. A lot of cars just put a giant TV in the car and brand it as "innovative", but in reality it's just the most cheapest option for car to build. KEEP THE BUTTONS LEXUS.

I kind of prefer the clean integration of the previous versions infotainment in the dash. It just looked like it belonged. But this car is still stunning.
Trust me it's an upgrade.. A little less elegant but multiple people commented to me about my infotainment not being touch screen. They'd always go to change the station or turn on heated seats then they were shocked when they found out it wasn't a touch screen.
Also, the new infotainment is actually REALLY good.. I would've preferred old setup if it was just a regular old touch screen, but this one is outstanding.
@@danielmiller9012 touch screen isn't worth losing the great interior look, its not hard to use the mouseknob.
@@Gamesso1slOo0l for the lexus infotainment it is really hard especially while driving. you constantly have to keep looking at the screen while moving the touchpad as it was very sensitive and everything was hidden under several separate menus. I don't prefer touchscreens due to fingerprints, scratches, smudges, etc, but the lexus os was very unintuitive, almost unsafe to use compared to something like idrive or even incontrol touch which is kind of notorious for being really bad

I m torn on the screen. I know it’s more convenient and easier to use but it’s just like every other “iPad” like screen that just sticks out. The previous setup looked better and flowed better
In a year or 2 I will own one of these. I ll decide on which screen I want later but I will likely opt for a low mileage used one from probably 2019-2022 if the new one doesn’t move me
I'm totally with you on the screen. I have a 2020 model and I wouldn't trade it for a new one. I use the concierge and it's easy to adjust things if needed, or maybe I'm used to it.... Either way, I prefer the look of the older model. Recessed, flowy, integrated....just beautiful.

Thanks for watching! That's a good point that I should touch on the soundsystem more! I find the Mark Levinson to be a fairly "Full Sound" although the bass isn't as loud as I'd like lol!
Lexus (and all the others) need to stop the charade. It demeans their design- just make it a 2 seater, there will be no riot.
Love this spec. Would love to have this as coupe though. Hope I could personally afford one in the future lol
this is one of the few cars where i prefer the roof off instead of the coupe. it is stunning in the this configuration

YES! However it would be a hard top coupe and not the convertible! I wish we had a hard top convertible, however both of these are still great! Thanks for watching
I miss the analogue clock, I feel even with the new touch screen the dash doesn't flow like on the previous models.

This 5.0L V8 is what Toyota should have put in the new Tundra instead of that shitty 3.4L V6 turbo. I've driven a LC and I was absolutely floored by how enjoyable, how powerful, and how incredible that engine sounded when I was in the car.
I had a 5.0 Mustang for six years and I would argue the Lexus 5.0L V8 is far superior and blows Ford's out of the water.
I think if this 5.0L V8 had been in the Tundra it would have sold like gang busters.

My only gripe is the headrests are made for shorter people. Long distances you can't lean back into them because of their forward tilt. BMW got it right.

Intake sound of V8 is tough to achieve, exhaust is much easier to achieve. Give Lexus F proper credit :-). For LC, no loss per brakes going to simple big rotors vs slotted.

The new screen doesnt fit in the old cockpit interior. I like the old one more. But functionality its an upgrade.
I know what you mean! The older system with the Lexus Remote touchpad meant the screen was nicely tucked away. However I love the new functionality for sure!

The integration of the info screen is such a disappointment. Terribly done. I knew they'd screw it up once they decided to redesign it from the non touch screen. Zero effort was given to make it look nice. Otherwise it's a great car with timeless design.

Love everything except the front end I can’t warm up to but still enjoy the chrome accents and trim pieces. The advantage to old school gauges are daytime visibility and clarity at a glance, can’t imagine being blinded by the newest dashboard displays during night driving. Mechanically it’s a masterpiece of performance and reliability in a luxury package.
I don't understand why these car companies are putting in these ugly large navigation screens that sticks up above the dashboard. I wouldn't have the 2024 model because of that one detail ..
I generally don’t like the color red but Lexus chose a rich shade of burgundy for the interior that looks elegant, especially against black.
I agree with what you said! The new panel beside the screen is boring, too plain!! That’s my only dislike about the new lc model.
