      Great music should be mixed down. Often in music backing poetry. The mix favors the music. It should be as my buddy BE Bop Bill Young the master jazz drummer said, the musician is supposed to make the poet sound good.

    Currently in the middle of my "Road Trilogy" Started with "On The Road" now in middle of "Electric Kool Aide Acid Test" and finishes with "Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas". They are, of course connected by characters and the road.

    if want to know ; real neal aka dean then read the electrickoolaid acid test - you learn he was the only one to keep young after dylan era jack sat at home drank beer ate pizza to death and alan did buddha chants - there was era change - jack wasnt interested but the 50s was more cinema meets tv meets rocknroll meets mccarthy meets nuclear doom meets juvenille delinquency meets roger corman meets return of hit parade clean cut boys

    I just agreed to assist a high school classmate -- by luck we attended high school where JK did a post-graduate before matriculating at Columbia University -- on his KEROUAC documentary. Friend lives in San Fran.

      Try listening with ear phones, it may be clearer... Yes I agree in places Jack sits low in the mix. In my defense my first few Volumes I wasn't really thinking on a technical level. I practically threw them together. I promise the production gets better as I evolved through the Volumes...Appreciate the feed-back all the same.
