This morning as i got ready for work and my heart feeling the pain of a broken relationship with my daughter ,the Holy Spirit dropped this ageless song of He who began a good work in me and as i opened youtube it was just there...❤
I lost my daughter unexpectedly a month ago. This is the absolute worst pain I have ever felt in my life. Last week as I was doing my morning devotion I went to Integrity Music on youtube. I saw this song and remembered it from years ago. It was exactly what I needed for the day. The Lord reminded me through this song that the work he started in me when I was 4 years old, He would complete it. I don't understand the "why" of losing my daughter, but I know that He is in control and He is the strength of my broken heart.
I'm sorry about your daughter. I know. I lost my only child, my beautiful 15-year old daughter 30 years ago. It's like yesterday. These songs have kept me going since. Praise God! He's the strength of my heart❤❤ Take courage.

Jesus Christ is my Lord I encountered him in 1980 through reading the bible and got born-again .Then in 1983 i was in bed sleeping and woke up to find Jesus standing next to my bed i felt his love over me he said nothing but I will never forget the glory the love in his face he is no dead god he was raised from the dead on the 3 rd day and I know that I know he is alive because I have seen him .Not every one gets to have experiences with Jesus like I have had but he said blessed are those who believe but have not seen so no matter what put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ .
These songs were introduced to me more than 30 years ago..and they remain to inspire me because as I read the Bible i see the songs are based DIRECTLY on the Word in the Bible..be blessed shalom!
So many churches have abandoned this type of music to introduce their new songs that lack the anointing of the Spirit of God. Songs like this one usher in church revivals, healings, and salvation! May God raise up men and women worship leaders who don't bring glory to themselves, but instead bring glory to the worthy one, our King of Kings, and Lord of Lords!!
Only prayer can usher in revival. Critisims don't work because its by His spirit not works,strength, might .but by His spirit.. Only God can bring a move of God.

This song is part of my testimony; I started life as a Christian and in recent times got involved in drugs, twice I had a heart attack and my heart stopped beating but the second time was worse...whiles fainting I had to walk back a mile, feeling my legs numb and buckling beneath me and feeling my heart cramp worse than any bodily pain I have ever felt, and struggling to breathe. I couldnt call paramedics for reasons I cant disclose but the life I was involved with in no way could afford that outcome. So I had to walk back home, leaving the party I was at because the environment I knew was making my heart feel worse. But I had a mile to walk. During that walk I could feel myself fading in and out of reality and death was knocking at my door. The Devil began to attack me greater than ever with doubt and guilt, discouraging me from calling on the Lord Jesus...but God said he will never leave nor forsake me. I remembered that much. I remembered the word of God being the sword of truth and faith was the shield I needed to withstand the physical and spiritual attack...and the Lord extended grace to me! I remembered this song from my childhood days, back when I was 4 and began to sing it with conviction, and so now I say the power of this song with its unadulterated use of scripture is part of my testimony and one I will remember in my Christian walk...death has no power over any who believe that Christ Jesus is our Lord and redeemer, our healer, protector...without trusting him I would not be typing here today!

When your life is brought to a standstill, and Jesus revives you, ministering His Word and bringing your body back to life, it no longer becomes mere words on a page. I would sincerely hope you also know Him, in utmost sincerity, in a way where your walk is not a mere outward profession but an inward, sincere faith, where your mind is set on The Word of God, your desires are set on His will; edifying the body, exhorting when needed, and bearing fruit. Finally understanding, a year since February the 8th when the second heart attack happened, and two weeks later after the Lord saved me from jail, that the fear of the Lord leads to a wisdom which drives me to seek Him for everything...the struggles I had, he's loosed those shackles. And when the mountain of doubt was too high, through Matthew 17 and Mark, he taught and led me to fast and pray, and continues to pour grace and power and wisdom. When I struggled with anger and loving others, especially enemies, Matthew 5 and Luke 6 came to my rescue. His hand lifted me up with Psalm 34, 40 and sheltered me in peace and comfort when people spoke bad about me and trials came my way; he heard all my cries and delivered me out of the miry clay! Quite abit of today's music saddens me because I fail to see much if any of a difference between rock n' roll and hard music and today's 'praise music'. You can say all you want but if you dont believe the words of Jesus you are not a believer, disobedience is not believing, what do you call a child whos father is telling him to clean his room, and the child is not willing? Is the child being believing the father?

Funnily enough, the Bible is more real to me than it is to most people; I know Jesus. Closer than I ever could have imagined. I've tasted His grace. And His commandments are more loving than I could ever have imagined. They are neither burdensome nor unfruitful, and he has allowed me to overcome stronghold after stronghold.
When your life is brought to a standstill, and Jesus revives you, ministering His Word and bringing your body back to life, it no longer becomes mere words on a page. I would sincerely hope you also know Him, in utmost sincerity, in a way where your walk is not a mere outward profession but an inward, sincere faith, where your mind is set on The Word of God, your desires are set on His will; edifying the body, exhorting when needed, and bearing fruit.
I pray that you are not a Christian who merely cites scripture without any wisdom in applying that to one's walk.
Sandra Stacey Amen Sandra, I an so grateful for what he's done. Finally understanding, a year since February the 8th when the second heart attack happened, and two weeks later after the Lord saved me from jail, that the fear of the Lord leads to a wisdom which drives me to seek Him for everything...the struggles I had, he's loosed those shackles. And when the mountain of doubt was too high, through Matthew 17 and Mark, he taught and led me to fast and pray, and continues to pour grace and power and wisdom.
When I struggled with anger and loving others, especially enemies, Matthew 5 and Luke 6 came to my rescue. His hand lifted me up with Psalm 34, 40 and sheltered me in peace and comfort when people spoke bad about me and trials came my way; he heard all my cries and delivered me out of the miry clay!
My boast will forever be in his excellency, goodness, mercy, power, love and faithfulness. Can't wait to meet Him one day! How has he been towards you? Are there any things you need encouraging on or battles you need praying over? God bless you sister!

I've not taken the time, until tonight, to listen to this song for quite some time. Wow, do I miss this kind of truly worshipful and CHRIST-centered music. Quite abit of today's music saddens me because I fail to see much if any of a difference between rock n' roll and hard music and today's 'praise music'. We are not to at ANY time even think about stepping on the devil's territory and today's music comes dangerously close to that territory. Even so LORD JESUS come.

People need to turn from their wicked ways, Jesus paid for it. They need to repent, to be cleansed by His blood and live Holy because He's Holy and righteous because He's righteous. Our God said to stop sinning in many many scriptures and He paid for everyone to be cleansed of sin (Isaiah 53), and to live how He said. He dwells in the Holy temple (your body) and said not to defile the temple. He said to defile the temple is death. He's always serious about everything He said to do. He's just as serious about what He said not to do. We live in obedience to His law, every word if it! He dwells within us all to be with and lead us in His ways. 💕
Deuteronomy 28 there are blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience. The whole chapter, and verse 46 is one example of generational curses. These go into the following generations, the 3 and 4th. Our children pay the price for our sin. Stop sinning you are sending consequences to yourself and to your loved ones, children. By God's law you are. If you don't believe me ask Him, in Jesus name may you see and know the truth in it's fullness.
