This sermon is a very accurate picture of what happened on the way to Vatican II. From what Abp Lefebvre tells us of the preparations for the Council, much effort was put into the schemas by Abp Lefebvre and Cardinal Ottaviani. Their intent was to have that Council to follow the arrow, straight line of past Councils and therefore become an "organic" outgrowth of what Jesus had taught the Apostles, who had taught the Fathers of the Church, and so on, so that it would be a part of the "seamless garment" that God had started as His Church. This would have been an edifice that would have been so obviously Christ's that the pattern would be so easy to follow that Jesus' promise to be with us untill the end of time would become almost a foregone conclusion, and an arrow path "très simple" to follow so it could be the Church for all mankind, and for all times. Unfortunately, there were hucksters along the way that lured people from the narrow way onto the broad way and there has been train wreck after train wreck ever since. The only train that stayed with the "undistracted" Christ train was the SSPX train and its adjuncts. Unfortunately, it is very unclear how all these "other" trains are going to avoid ending up like the many and diverse/perverse transit lines of the first wrekovation attempt of the 1500s that resulted in a vast menagerie of sects that in no way resemble the Original that Christ Divinely instituted. We must pray for all of the derailed Catholics and for the Witnesses of Apocalypse 11, that our brothers and sisters will come back to the Truth, and the True Faith so that when Jesus comes back, He will certainly find the True Faith. (See Ezekiel 9 for details.)
They do that at the proclamation of the Gospel in Latin (1), after which they read the translation for everyone to understand (2), and then is the sermon take place (3). In the video you can see only the last two steps.
They don't wear birettas,no Sanctus candle during Low Mass,offer the dubious 1962 Missal,and never encourage after midnight Holy Communion fast. On top of that dubious "Bishop" Huonder is with them in Germany. Bad signs for a very large traditional group who can't stop kissing up to the novus ordo.
@@E.C.2 the sermon isn't a required part of the Mass, and there are multiple legitimate ways to do the sermon and vernacular readings. Even a sedevacantist priest could tell you and would tell you that. Also, the Angelus Press Missal published by the SSPX does encourage the old fast.

Does the SSPX not sign the forehead, lips and heart at the reading of the Gospel?
