Hmmmm actually I’m also not sure lmao. Let us turn to Google. It means “to very gently incorporate an ingredient by sweeping the spatula around the mixing bowl and then turning it lightly, as if folding the mixture in on itself.” I’m also not sure how to explain it but videos of folding in in cooking will show you what it means
