Filming is such path along such dangerous cliff is really full of admiration and respect. With potentially monkeys, birds, and even snakes sneaking on travellers who might even make missteps or get into giddiness due to height makes it even more dangerous and precarious.

No. No. No. My fear of heights would leave me paralyzed. I don't know how they manage walking on the edge of a precipice that high as a misstep would be fatal. I understand that they need to have paths like that in order not to be trapped by the mountains but I figure a strong gust of wind could lead to a fatality. I've seen the results of storms in China recently and it's not pleasant. I have great respect for the people who carved those mountain paths at that height. Invading such a place would be nearly impossible so it would be safe in the long-term. It's just me and my fear of heights that's the problem. Obviously, if you grow up in that area, you use the path as a necessity and that's that. However, senior citizens like myself have to be careful walking as the legs get weaker with age in many cases. It has to be somewhat strenuous walking a mile on a mountain path due to the elevation alone. It's awesome and frightening at the same time. It surprises me that places like that still exist especially with all the Chinese megaprojects of tunnels and bridges running through and over mountains in many regions.
