Like 82 👍 Greetings from Naples, Florida. What a beautiful place. The water views were spectacular. We enjoyed the sights, scenery and narration. Thanks for sharing with us, have a great week. 💯
You know, your vid on Robin Hood's Bay had me in tears it was so beautiful I had to watch it 2x in a row. Thinking "Donald Sinclair" and "Basil Fawlty" I didn't expect Torquay to be almost as stunning, no tacky amusement arcade, very little unpleasant architecture, what a stunning place and thank you for the walk. Also I bet thanks to UK Met Office for the heads-up on when it will be 100% sunshine for your vids. Cheers.
hey! I love this video, appreciate your work. I'm working on a video about Isambard Kingdom Brunel and will be briefly mentioning Torquay. Would you mind if I used a few seconds of your footage? I'm happy to credit you on-screen and link to your video in my description. Thank you, Cindy
Hi lets walk how are you love your vidio of tokey very interested alot of history with agetha Christy we went there along time ago take care stay safe xx ❤😊
I've booked a break for February half term school holidays torquay and Dartmouth break going with Caledonian travel never been before travelling on coach holidays they quite famous superdeal breaks hope my child likes it long 5yrs and half from Yorkshire were stopping at torbay.
Ex resident here was a lovely place still nice places but is now one of the worse seaside towns in the U.k hopefully will rise again very good memories very sad now.
I send a message in the bottle :does anyone know about Martin Ro(d)gers, who was living in Torquay in the 70,s ?I think he used to work in a garage and had a sport car at this time. We met in a nigth club and listened T Rex music.that was a long time ago but I never forgot him.your help will be much appreciated ! thanks a lot
I worked with Martin in the 80s, he was working selling cars then. That was Torquay. Strangely enough his name came up in conversation only yesterday. I have no idea what he is doing now I'm afraid. What a coincidence.
I know. Could you imagine if any developers got their hands on that plot of land and were allowed to demolish them. I dread to think what they'd sell for with that view.
@nealt992 £565,000 They are lovely inside and to be fair you're looking out not in if you live there. They are known locally as the three ugly sisters.
@@nealt992But if property developers got their hands on them as you say, there probably would be protest from the Torquay residents and the property developers could say "We're demolishing them because they've all got Fawlty Towers!"

How come it’s always blue cloudless skies and bright sunshine in every one of your walks?
I’ve been to Torquay three times this year. Even in January. It’s pretty almost always blue skies!
💙💙
Probably coz he films in the summer. However the SW has its own micro climate.
Might go a trip on the love train lol

basil. Basil!
Its turned into a shit pit..i know i live here.
no arcades?
Good guided tour, nice visuals but less chat please.
Compared to the Cote d ‘ Azur , it doesn’t look like much , sorry. It’ has Margate vibes , just cleaner and nicer weather .
Those vile blocks of flats have been there decades and are a scruffy mess and were always a blot on the landscape
