My HG for 6 years has been the Chanel Perfection Velvet and that's a natural matte finish ( with a glossy bottle & cap 😉 ) . I tried pretty much every foundation they launched and loved all of them . All Chanel foundations like a nicely prepped skin , nicely moisturized skin . The shade looks lovely on you 😘

It's such a beautiful foundation. I actually tested it with and without the CT and I liked it with both, but because it's more powder type finish, I liked having that glow underneath😚 But you're right, it's a beautiful foundation and i'm sooooo glad it's working so well for your skin 😚 You are beautiful btw💖💖
Tara I'm 43 and I have normal dry skin. I love a radiant finish also. I would recommend the Osmosis foundation. Its lovely and has good ingredients which I'm trying to use more of. I think you would like this foundation. I got mine off of the Premier Looks website. Their skincare is amazing medical grade as well.

The third day you wore the foundation did you use the flawless filter underneath like you did on the second day? I've noticed that the flawless filter only wears well under certain foundations. Thank you for such a great review!
On the 3rd day I wore it without. I only wore it with the HFF the 2nd day. You're right, it works well with certain foundations. I have a feeling it may have been the brush. Only because the brush didn't apply it heavy around my mouth and it was smooth and flawless. This wkd i'm going to apply it without that brush and see if it was in fact the brush that made it so beautiful the 3rd day 🙌
I'm combo skin - oily nose but dry almost everywhere else. If foundation starts settling into those fine lines around your mouth etc, I use an oil primer (or rosehip oil) around my mouth and cheeks and then wait a few mins for the oil to absorb a bit more and then go in with foundation (using a brush) and I find that it stops the foundation looking weird around those areas but still stays put throughout the day and doesn't affect the wear time or anything. I think some foundations do better with different types of primers and while I love love love my Bobbi Brown primer like you, sometimes I just need that little bit extra in one or two areas and that's when I go in with an oil primer (generally the Farsali oil because its quickly absorbed into my skin). Try that and see if it makes a difference (and don't use the CT underneath, just the oil primer).
I love a lot of Chanels products but this would be a pass for me, it just looks to matte in places, so thank you for saving me the expense. Have a blessed day Tara💗
REGARDING THE FINISH OF THE BOTTLE CAP:: I talked about this in the video, but cut it out so the video wasn't even more long. Lol. But, after wearing it the first day, I went to the Chanel counter at Nordstrom's to swatch shade B50 to see if it was a better match. It wasn't. However, the lady at the Chanel counter told me about the Matte cap being an indicator that it is a matte foundation and the shiny cap indicates a more radiant finish. I'm not of course familiar with Chanel, like I stated in the video, so i'm taking her word for that❤ If that isn't correct, I apologize for the miss information ❤ But I wanted to let you know who told me that💋 LOVE YOU ALL💋💋 UPDATE:: Jessica Nguyen actually WORKS at the Chanel counter and she actually confirmed what I was told about the bottle cap was misinformation. Here is her response. :) "All the foundation caps are shiny regardless of the finish. The previous Ultrawear formula was shiny and they have updated the new formula with a matte frosted bottle with a matte cap. I hope this clears up any confusion! Also, they have included more shades including warm tones with golden tones that end in 1. For neutral undertones, the shade will end with a 0 and for Rose tones will end with a 2 i.e. 12, 22, 32 etc." So I am sorry for that misinformation but the cap DOES NOT signify the finish of the foundation :) XOXO
I think that it makes sense that you loved it on a day that you used the Sonia G foundation brush - better tools can make for a better application and beautiful finish. Now, for a 60.00 foundation, I think that it should look flawless even if I put it on using my cat as a blender, but that's just me. 😉 🐱😜 Did you have to use as much product when you used the Sonia G? If not, perhaps that's why you liked it better - flawless beautiful coverage without feeling heavy.
I am starting to think that was the case with this foundation. I think that brush applied and blended it out in such a flawless way . I really think the brush made a difference. But, like you said, for that price, it should be applied with anything and be great. I am not sure about how much I needed. I feel like all 3 days i used 3-4 pumps which also stinks being that it's $60🙄 but i'm going to try it this wkd without using that brush and see how it applies😚😚

But, honestly, you don't need top yacht because the shade moonscape is soooo close too top yacht. I would say the chrome pot is just a little more shiny and bright than the shadow in the palette is but you can achieve the same look. But, i'll definitely create a look, I was thinking about shopping my stash video so that would be a perfect look to create in that video ❤❤

I tried Chanel Supreme Le Tient and it clings to the same area you mention. The ultra is actually less clingy. But I am not over loving this SGD200 bottle (the supreme).
Really like the close ups and lighting. Super helpful for base product review! I wonder how this compares to Le Teint Ultra. I’m a full coverage girl so will probably pass on this...

The smell is not a problem. But I have dry skin and it's bad by the chin area, and that's all I am worried about each time I use makeup. Well I have put it on now. It feels comfortable and let's see how it goes throughout the day.

So. I wasn't able to give an update on this foundation because I didn't end up reviewing the foundation from Burberry (it's discontinued) but, I actually like this foundation. It's not my top fav, but, I still have really liked the way it looks. It's very natural, and soft on the skin❤❤❤
I personally prefer a flat top Kabuki when applying foundation because I prefer a small layer of foundation down first then add where I need it. In this video, I used the Signa F80. And I recently bought the Sonia G Base one brush and love it so so much. It's expensive, but my favorite foundation brush ever 👌 If it's just not in your budget, I totally get it, the Sigma F80 will work great too 💖💖💖💖
Can anyone tell me.... is the B10 shade the same across all lines now? The B10 used to be too yellow for me. But then I got matched at BD01?!?! It seems too light for my face. Should I go try the B10 now that they are labeled as “neutral?” Usually was matched at BR12 however I wouldn’t say I have a cool undertone necessarily....

I went and got a samples to try it at Macy’s and I think is kind like the Dior forever perfection the matte version just my opinion I think the Chanel foundation last so long and it doesn’t transfer not even to the phone and I also noticed a glow with in I really like it but is not my favorite

I’m trying Les Bieges for the third day, have dry skin, older, fine lines and wrinkles, pores on nose. It ain’t working yet! Still trying it different ways with different pre moisture,sunscreen, etc. Maybe from what you say, Ulta might work for me. But this one is showing all wrinkles , settling. Disappointed.

I have WAY more acne and imperfections than you and 1.5 pumps covers my entire face plus building up over problem areas. It feels like I’m wearing nothing. You used too much. Try a damp sponge to apply.

I was wearing the Tarte Creaseless concealer but I actually am testing ways to set your concealer where it looks good without creasing and being cakey. And i'll be uploading that video next Saturday. I'm sooooo excited to share the methods I have tested out with you all👏👏
So. I wasn't able to give an update on this foundation because I didn't end up reviewing the foundation from Burberry (it's discontinued) but, I actually like this foundation. It's not my top fav, but, I still have really liked the way it looks. It's very natural, and soft on the skin❤❤❤
could you give me the name of the brush you used on the last day? i am struggling on how to apply the product nicely without its thick layer.
I personally prefer a flat top Kabuki when applying foundation because I prefer a small layer of foundation down first then add where I need it. In this video, I used the Signa F80. And I recently bought the Sonia G Base one brush and love it so so much. It's expensive, but my favorite foundation brush ever 👌 If it's just not in your budget, I totally get it, the Sigma F80 will work great too 💖💖💖💖
Can anyone tell me.... is the B10 shade the same across all lines now? The B10 used to be too yellow for me. But then I got matched at BD01?!?! It seems too light for my face. Should I go try the B10 now that they are labeled as “neutral?” Usually was matched at BR12 however I wouldn’t say I have a cool undertone necessarily....

I went and got a samples to try it at Macy’s and I think is kind like the Dior forever perfection the matte version just my opinion I think the Chanel foundation last so long and it doesn’t transfer not even to the phone and I also noticed a glow with in I really like it but is not my favorite

@@blancaguzman9648 It was fun and very easy.. i used the Bh Cosmetics Desert Oasis Palette, I used shades canyon and dune in the crease, then I used Tarte's chrome paint in shade top yacht on the lid , and smoked out the outer corner mixing dune and nights Cape. But, honestly, you don't need top yacht because the shade moonscape in the Desert Oasis palette is soooo close too top yacht. I would say the chrome pot is just a little more shiny and bright than the shadow in the palette is but you can achieve the same look. ❤❤❤

I have WAY more acne and imperfections than you and 1.5 pumps covers my entire face plus building up over problem areas. It feels like I’m wearing nothing. You used too much. Try a damp sponge to apply.

I think you're supposed to blend and apply it with your fingers. Using your sponge and a brush is waiting an expensive foundation.
