Well in their sport. It's a great three man block. Makes the backline and libero's job of making first touch easy. The difficult one here is that they are not going across. Should probably check with their timing and ability to read and also allowance to reach over the net instead. Was gonna be rough for him. But if they went that far over they will come down hitting the net and making a volleyball foul.
Anthony Lui It would affect the shooter mentally. It may reduce the shooter's confidence and the shooter will be less focused on taking the shot when he is guarded by 100 players. Unless if you're talking about Kobe, the dude shoots even if 1,000,000 Manute Bols are guarding him.

Purity it’s kind of the same way though they jump straight and hands up, only difference is they’re trying to match the volleyball instead of stuffing it before it takes flight or jumping higher than it

that's stupid volleyballl blocking type its way different than basket plus the net between gives the shooter more chance ,why don't you bring someone like Leonard and try a one on one then you'd see if he can't get block or not
luis Mcnama cause he would be in his face. it's easy to block someone you know is gonna shoot from that close. Also Leonard doesn't have a great standing reach for centers don't know why you are name dropping him.

It's very hard to block that shot using Volleyball blocking technique. A player's maximum blocking reach will be much lower than his spike reach. I think the shot would be blocked if they approached the shooter using spiking footwork

How tall are the volleyball players? If you are shorter, your timing and leap has to be greater to block a taller player.

Putting volleyball blocking to basketball is... ehhhh😓it’s not supposed to work. In vball, they smash the ball either at ur fingers. Or try to topple the blocker’s “blocks”. In basketball the ball is meant to be aimed up, this with the fact that the distance he has to shoot away from the net makes it even easier for a guy his height to not get blocked by a triple block

The block from vball players wouldn't help, cuz the shoot from the BBALL player throws the ball upward, while in vball spikes go forward or downward. In conclusion, you are wasting energy trying to block that throw.

This is stupid. You shoot the ball upward, volleyball players block the ball that is spiked downward. I mean, the volleyball players, even if they can jump higher than a basketball player, would have a hard time blocking the shot because they are not properly skilled to do that. Blocking shot is more than just jumping high.
