- The title explains it all! I wanted to make a video to help assist those who are in the market for a tractor. This video serves to help explain why I purchased the Kubota L3901 over other brands. I briefly touch on the sizing of this tractor and why I went with that. I looked at models such as the John Deere 3025E, and John Deere 3038E. I also looked at New Holland, Mahindra, and LS Tractors. This video explains what I came up with, and hopefully it will help someone out there! As always, please comment like and subscribe! If you want to see something specific on the tractor or implements please feel free to leave a comment and I will see what I can do!! Thanks for Watching!

I replaced my bx23x with the 3901 (2015) after i was done with landscaping. Was hesitating between the 3901 and the 4701 and the mx5200.
With 150acr maple syrup bush....weight is a factor on April spring mud festival. As you can see...i dont know much about tractor!
Excellent video. Appreciate the reasons for upgrading from a sub-compact to a Compact and why this model.
Thank you!
Nice video
I recently bought a 3902 …traded in my 2501 I’ve owned for 6 years! The reason I upgraded was for more HP and a hydrostat.
The 2501 worked as it should with no issues but the type of work I did a lot of required slow intricate precision work of the loader!
Hard to do with a manual trans of the 2501 …..I didn’t like having to ride the clutch to creep slowly doing what needed done.
The only thing I’m not a fan of the low lift capacity of The L series tractors…..I fixed the 2501 and 3902 with increasing relief valve pressures ..
Nice!
My Deere and kubota dealer are within 25 miles of me BUT deere salesmen acted annoyed because I was asking about info on a 4R series tractor and not spending 6 figures or more like the giant farms around me do. Kubota dealer was great I’ll never buy a deere. Great video
L4802 owner with grapple, bucket, forks, and backhoe. 80 acres of heavy forest, it’s perfect.
The pto is stronger. I went with the l2501 because it's made in japan. 350 hrs and nothing but oil changes. Love it.
Denominally stronger yes, in retrospect I would go with the 2501 if I could do it again.
@@CarolinaEarthWerx why would you get the 2501 looking back?
I did same thing!!!
Just bought a l3901 (used). My first tractor of this size. Not sure what you mean by "get your tires filled". With air? Foam? Something else?
The dealer can fill them with beet juice/some other chemical mix that is extremely heavy and will balance out the tractor quite a bit. It keeps you from tipping and allows for more balanced use of tractor when operating the loader.
@@CarolinaEarthWerx Thanks. Never heard of that.
We’ll worth it!
Kubota will treat you better than a John Deere. Great purchase!
I’d have to agree!
I live in Ohio but I'm an otr truck driver and I've been through there many of times. I put in my request for this unit. What kind of credit is ideal for getting qualified for financing? I'm just under 700
I would think you would be fine but I have no idea really
Do you mind telling us what you paid?
Check out the first video with pricing and all that
Trying to figure out what kind of tires you have. They don't exactly look like R4 or R1.
Looks more like R4 but slightly different tread pattern.
Look through my channel. I have an L 3800 and new L3901. I subscribed to your channel, it will be interesting to compare notes on the new tractor. I'm also uploading tractor videos.
John Deere doesn’t hold a candle compared to Kubota. Have had my L3830 since 2005. John Deere still trying to live up to an out dated reputation
