This is so awesome, it looks great on your shelf. I know in a previous video you mentioned that when you were working on your medieval display that you wanted to army build the Falcon and Lion knights, at the Lego stores the first quarter of build a minifigures are out and they have Lion knight torsos, Lion knight shields, and black helmets. Make sure to take a look the next time you're at the store!!
This was a ‘big’ set I got as a kid. I still have it today, and it’s one of my favourites 🙌🏼 Also, I just noticed your front hood is not built correctly- there should be a vertical silver “grill” piece at the front between the two fog lights - the hood should close nicely.. something seems a bit off with your build
Love it! I thoroughly enjoyed the live build and think the completed Stud Bug looks ace. It's so interesting to me to see the development of Lego through the years. The Lego of my 80s childhood is a world away from today's Lego but no less thrilling to me. Expertly built and beautifully placed
I have the land rover defender it's a very cool vehicle but was missing some pieces so that was the downside of it otherwise it was a great looking vehicle.
That is so cool. I have to be honest, I love the old VW bug better than the 2016 version. I'd love for you to do more older builds...maybe from the 80's?
It's crazy how the innovation of SNOT bricks changed how good the models look nowadays. This Beetle looks so blocky and would look totally different if it was designed today.
I’ve literally never heard any Star Wars fan who was upset with darth mauls ending. He was so blinded by rage he didn’t see obi wans counter coming, that’s how obi wan won so quick. Sure it wasn’t a long fight but it showed how much obi wan had progressed since the clone wars with his swift victory
Even though I'm not a fan of the stepped brick technique, this version still looks cool in its own unique way. It has that true lego look about it. But man has lego come a long way, the more recent version of this beetle is much improved!
The digital designer was the advert and introduction to lego digital designer (ldd), At the time ldd just started, it had a feature you could submit your designs part list and they sold and sent you the parts called lego factory, market street, the second modular was the fan design winner of the ldd factory competition
I don’t think I realize this that even existed. I’ve seen the 2016 one and that’s what I thought this was going to be. I don’t even think I like this one. Lol but it’s still cool to see the video so thanks for doing it
This area would be great if you had more classic Legos. (Dropship, Cafe Corner, etc..) I just love it when I see a video, and they have some white whales
The only creator expert vehicle I wanted was the mini Cooper never got it but I do need to build the DeLorean still and the 1989 batman sets if I think of doing them.
My wife ordered all the Mini Cooper parts from Lego or brick link. She almost had everything to start. It came to more or less the same price as original.
Great video! Question: When buying parts from Bricklink, Pick a Brick or online Pick a Brick, is there a way to find the best pricing for different types of parts within each platform? It seems like Bricklink is cheaper all the time, however, shipping, 2x points and gwps are not accounted for. Do you have a method for deciding where you buy your parts from?
Punch Buggy no returns.... hahaha gotcha
My dad always used to say this 😂 don’t see too many of them anymore sadly
I had that set! Granted, I was eight when I got it so my dad did the majority of the building for me, but it was really cool to have. I love Beetles.
The person who sent it on fanmail is legendary
She really is 😁😉

CLASSIC LEGO priceless! Great addition to your collection. Be safe and well!
Classic Lego, I love it.

awesome video jordan the stud bug looks amazing great job
The oldest set I have put together is the Fire Brigade. Love this Volkswagen . Great video and build.
Great build. I love that it’s not covered in tile and slopes. Thanks for sharing! 👍🏻
Your car collection alone is amazing.
It looks fanstatic for plate build❤
Love the VW Bettle - We had two of them back in the early 70's. Great build and nice job!
So much better than the newer one.
I have the land rover defender it's a very cool vehicle but was missing some pieces so that was the downside of it otherwise it was a great looking vehicle.
Looks like a fun build. It will look good in your collection. 👍
OLD SCHOOL SLUG BUG BLUE (punch)
That is so cool. I have to be honest, I love the old VW bug better than the 2016 version. I'd love for you to do more older builds...maybe from the 80's?
Can’t imagine Lego was still this primitive in 2008. There’s a reason why recent models have ignited the interest again for so many people.

Can we have more videos like this? Almost mini reviews of old sets
Lego old school is nice but still love the new creations more

It's actually more advanced than the real car! It's got an adjustable steering column!
You need to get the Land Rover Defender!
What! It was only 16 years ago? How far we've come. There's something captivating how blocky yet still so beautiful it is.
I found a stud bug on EBay about 2 months ago for $200 and it was honestly really cool to build a set that was almost as old as me
They need to make a new version!
that building style with the stepped plates is something i have always struggled with (provided it wasnt a hill or something)
The Delorean all the way back then...
All the Icons cars should come with a specifications plaque
one more to complete collection .. until another comes out :P
I want to build the grey version in the behind the design section
Stud bug goes in warehouse now lol
time laps amazing blue beetle car👍
Can't say that thing is to my taste, but getting a more complete collection is always nice. 😁

Cool video, better than the usual "How many sets will retire in XYZ time/year""
This area would be great if you had more classic Legos. (Dropship, Cafe Corner, etc..) I just love it when I see a video, and they have some white whales

What is that white Lamborghini and Ford Gt40?
You should get the free Lego Life magazine subscription for your kids😉
Designs and parts have improved so much since then, the resurgence of Lego owes a lot to moving away from the brick built look.
What happened with that original DeLorean? Is it an actual set?
honestly, in some ways that 2008 version is better than the 2016 one 😀😀
Omg I am unspeakable
Day 38 of asking for a double corner town hall!
What is the 1 more?
Defender
Just brought it. Looking forward to building it 👌🏻
So. Many. Studs.
This needs a dew slopes to smooth it out a bit looks like it's got the chicken pox.
Wow, primitive
It's... hideous!
First
Love your content. Hate this Lego set. So ugly
looks like it's from 1978 with such poor design
Looks dumb.plate it up.
