Is it possible to use this with solar?
Sure, this uses about 10kwh per every hour of running (that is an estimate on the highside) as long as you can supply the electricity to run it you'll be fine.
No, unless you either use a big battery or are connected to the grid. 10kw is more than most residential installations provide for solar, even on a bright sunny day.
at 300W/panel, 10kw is 34 panels, at the sunniest part of the day.

I plan on getting an electric mill but it will be in an enclosed insulated area with a wood heater.
