It would simply be unfair to say that he wasn’t a strong hashira. Not a single person died under his watch. Akaza was just too strong for his experience and training level.

First regarding Yorichi, he was a beast no doubt about that, but another reason is that Yorichi was born with a mark using which he can see the transparent world( i won't get into much details as I don't wanna spoil it for you). They will explain about the mark further down the series. Mark was one of the major contributing factors to how he could land a hit on Michikatsu's trainer without any prior training and mark also helped him in defeating Muzan.
i personally like mist breathing if it is used in combination with thunder or flame breathing i think it can overpower most of the breathing techniques

Moon breathing was not derived from Sun breathing, Kokushibo created it independently as a human and perfected it as a demon, still weaker than Sun breathing tho
9th form rengoku and 11th form of giyu are advanced forms that the user creates for themselves, like tanjiro created 13th form of hinokami kagura. And if tanjiro had mastered water breathing he would have created his own 11th form of water breathing which would be different from giyu's dead calm and similarly how zenitsu made his own 7th form while thunder breathing has 6 forms only. Different users have different advanced forms depending on them and how they create them. Eg. If Logi mastered flame breathing, he can create his own different 9th form and can name it Loginion😁. ✌️

Bro it's not only about breathing style, it solely depends on the user. Yorichi was a beast. It is said that Muzan stayed hidden until Yorichi's death and if Yorichi would've lived for another minute or two, then Kokushibo could have kissed his ass goodbye.

I have a question which I wondered from a very long time. Why Yoriichi specifically chose Kamado family to pass on Sun Breathing☀️? What's the reason behind it? Are the Kamado family always so special or both Tsugikuni family and Kamado family have same ancestry? Is there any connection?
Yoriichi used to live with his wife in a house.. once his wife was killed, he went into the demon slayer path. After a long time, he wandered and came back to the house to find a new family staying in that house, which was the Kamado family. He protected them from demons too. So he’s kinda sentimental abt them, also they are good people. I will explain in detail soon in a video.

Well according to my observation the 5 derivative styles are focused on one particular trait. Stone Breathing= it majorly focuses on RANGE & POWER.(the reason for their weapon choice ) Wind = It focuses mostly on OFFENCE (hence suiting slayers like sanemi for their aggresive style ) Water= it focuses on DEFENSE (therefore having multiple forms & slashes) Flame= it focuses on ACCURACY (the reason being how all the forms and attacks are SINGLE POWERED and how rengoku's attacks were directed on akaza's neck) Thunder= OF COURSE SPEED
Zenitsu can use only first form of thunder breathing. But he mastered it to the point that he made sub forms of first form that he called "folds". This idea was indirectly given by zenitsu's grandpa and former user of thunder breathing. Because he was not able to learn other breath forms of breathing. It was actually mentioned in the first season of DS.

Please answer this question : Tanjiro uses HINOKAMI KAGURA aka Sun Breathing. Then why Doesn't he look like strong enough like other powerful hashiras. I mean, inspite of having the most powerful breathing, he had hard time defeating the upper moons. He should have killed them like Yorichi as he was close to defeat kokushibo with one slash
Bro it's not only about breathing style, it solely depends on the user. Yorichi was a beast. It is said that Muzan stayed hidden until Yorichi's death and if Yorichi would've lived for another minute or two, then Kokushibo could have kissed his ass goodbye.

I have a question which I wondered from a very long time. Why Yoriichi specifically chose Kamado family to pass on Sun Breathing☀️? What's the reason behind it? Are the Kamado family always so special or both Tsugikuni family and Kamado family have same ancestry? Is there any connection?
Yoriichi is friend of tanjiros ancestors and yoriichi don't have family that's why

Yoriichi used to live with his wife in a house.. once his wife was killed, he went into the demon slayer path. After a long time, he wandered and came back to the house to find a new family staying in that house, which was the Kamado family. He protected them from demons too. So he’s kinda sentimental abt them, also they are good people.

Well according to my observation the 5 derivative styles are focused on one particular trait.
Stone Breathing= it majorly focuses on RANGE & POWER.(the reason for their weapon choice )
Wind = It focuses mostly on OFFENCE (hence suiting slayers like sanemi for their aggresive style )
Water= it focuses on DEFENSE (therefore having multiple forms & slashes)
Flame= it focuses on ACCURACY (the reason being how all the forms and attacks are SINGLE POWERED and how rengoku's attacks were directed on akaza's neck)
Thunder= OF COURSE SPEED

Zenitsu can use only first form of thunder breathing. But he mastered it to the point that he made sub forms of first form that he called "folds".
This idea was indirectly given by zenitsu's grandpa and former user of thunder breathing. Because he was not able to learn other breath forms of breathing. It was actually mentioned in the first season of DS.
