- These are all the Dooney and Bourke bags that I purchased in 2023. I had never purchased Dooney and Bourke before Spring 2023. I didn’t know ANYTHING about Florentine leather. I now have a really nice collection of Dooney and Bourke. I found my UNICORN twice. I also caught some rare gems.

I used to carry small backpacks but have gotten into crossbodys lately , seeing that backpack tho makes me want to buy it.
I also want that Florentine satchel 2:25 in nano size.

You made some great purchases this year. That Buckley is 🔥🔥🔥. I had one in natural and sold her because I never reached for her. But you got me rethinking that decision lol
Thank you for watching. The Buckley is such a unique bag. I’ve NEVER see a drawstring on the inside like that. It’s a bucket,drawstring,tote hybrid. I’ll never let it leave my collection. The web strap makes it very easy and fun to carry. I wouldn’t take it on a long shopping trip, but it goes to work, out to dinner, a definite must for the 🍿 movies. You know how much food and drink I can take to the movies in this bag?! LOL Dre I have many vintage coach bags. I just cleaned up one of my duffle sacs, getting her ready to put back into rotation.
I know you don’t prefer big bags, but it’s nice to have at least one. The Buckley would be my choice of a big bag to keep.

@@mushroomngrass. yeah I’m thinking about adding her back to my collection. Now that I’ve reconciled the fact that I can’t carry her strictly as a top handle I’m willing to give it another try.
A web strap makes a heck of a difference in her carry. She is such a fun bag. Can carry anything and everything you want and then some
Oh and there are some fantastic deals on this bag NWT on the secondary market. I got this NWT for $160 on Mercari…

Thank you for watching. I couldn’t believe that I was able to find some of these older gems, in great condition. Since Florentine lesther was the first leather that I got from Dooney, I can’t seem to even look at the other many leathers just yet. LOL
Eventually I will venture into the other leathers and nylon. I really admire your vast collection and I saw some styles that you showcased that I NEED In my collection.
I don’t have any natural yet. I’m too new to Florentine and I’m scared I will ruin it. I’ll probably get a pre-loved natural Florentine to see how I like it. I don’t have any black yet, either. I figure I have vintage coach black bags and dooney Florentine comes in so many vibrant beautiful colors.

Wow! I’m in awe. What a fabulous collection. I love everything. This is an amazing video. You point out so many of the beautiful details. The leather, the styles, the stitching…everything is gorgeous. You have acquired such a classic collection. Your large Logan’s leather was just called “smooth” when they sold it. Thank you for watching. The older bags have a lot of details that are just not found in newer styles. I love the whipstitch details. Thank you for the info on the large Logan. There aren’t many videos on it and I just so happen to be perusing eBay. She jumped out like look at me, I DO exist. Makes me wonder what the large Sloan looks like. If I can get that small Logan in other colors, I will. She is not too big and not too small. Very nice carry and I reach for her almost as much as the zip flap fold over crossbody.
I wanted to put this video of every bag from dooney I got in 2023 before the new year. I’ve made a few coach and Rebecca minkoff purchases but once I felt/smelled Florentine leather, I was hooked. Go big or go home right, lol
Eventually I’ll venture into suede and pebbled leather. For know Florentine is my obsession.

Thank you for watching. I should have started with pebbled leather, because that Florentine got me hooked. My chestnuts for whatever reason have no issue in the rain. They dry like they were never wet. I haven’t treated the chestnuts. So they are my go to when it’s wet yucky weather. I really wanted to show the openings of the bags. Just looking online you don’t really get the sense of how big or tiny the openings are. Have a blessed day
Do you have a favorite color of Florentine? Mine might be chestnut but I love them all.
You know at first it was navy, but there are like 2 versions of it. One is so dark it looks black and the blue navy. I really like the blue navy. I think chestnut is my favorite. It’s so rich and I love the reddish undertones. I really like the Bordeaux. The brown tmoro is stunning too. Don’t get me started on the beautiful Ivy. @suzWhat you are asking a really tough question Lol
