So here's the deal with the "get the Wizard a microphone" comments. After a few years of trial and error on sound recording, I no longer trust wireless microphones. Since I don't have someone behind the camera, or a sound guy listening for issues, there's too much risk of a video getting ruined by audio issues-- which has happened so many times in the past. Currently I put a sound recorder in my pocket that's wired directly to the microphone. It takes longer to edit this way, but the difficulty would go up by over 9000 if I had to jump back and forth syncing and editing between 2 microphones. So when I film with the wizard, I try and stay close to him, and I turn up the sound level to MAX when he speaks. It doesn't help that he's also pretty soft spoken. I'm sorry, but this is as good as it's going to get without someone helping me film, and the cost and effort of that is NOT worth it. Also, I didn't actually mean to hang up on him, as I thought the conversation was over-- and called him back after I finished the video. I love that man!
Audio takes effort to get good, it is also the most important aspect when it comes to quality. Investing in proper equipment is well worth it. Get advice from a professional.

@@TigreJoe1994 Nah, sounds like what Crockett would do (although the old Ferrari Daytona was replaced by the Testarossa which was brand new at the time)
Watch in 144p for the full 80's experience
Genius.
Actually 480i is more '80s appropriate but sadly not available on UA-cam lol
you bought that 80's cop car too didn't you?
i bet he bought it just to make the intro of this video lol
And it would be the most reliable thing he has...
I'll be disappointed if we don't get a Cannonballrun-esque montage with both cars in the next few videos, altho I suppose it should really be with a Countach :)
i just love the 80s music and 80s themed everything in this :)
That 80's music cracks me up everytime xD
I love how the car wizard just straight up tastes a fluid from a car engine, identifies it as anti freeze, and Hoovies main concern is where is it leaking from😂
Looks like Don Johnson, sounds like Jeff Goldblum... very entertaining :)
I had one of those big brick cell phones with the thick rubber antennas! I was a Pepsi guy Back then and wore it on my belt, First guy I knew that had one at .40 cents per minute!
All the other Pepsi drivers gave me crap for the cell phone, asked why I needed it. Accused me of thinking I was cool (as I did) ...But, within 2-3 months EVERY Co-worker was walking around with their very cool brick phones! Obvious they thought I WAS cool, right?
Don't worry I think you're cool Greg! It's crazy to think that not that long ago how big cell phones were and how much they cost to use, even landlines cost extra for long distance calling, now you can get unlimited nationwide cell phone plans for $30/mo (with a little bit of data). I think we are starting to reach a peak where smartphones are now, the specs keep increasing but there hasn't been any huge innovations over the past few years. I really wonder what the next big life changing invention will be, something like a computer or smartphone.
Haha, that's jealousy for ya
My boss had one. I had to wait till 99 before they got cheap enough for us poor folks.
6:31. Hello there Wizard Jr. ^^
Looks more like his brother?, Who knows I think the Wizard should start his own UA-cam for repairs, he's such a chilled out guy.
This thing is too sick. Such a big improvement over the last one. Probably one of the best Ferrari’s out there.
Strange seeing this model after so many years, always tought it was a much larger car, then again most of the cars have grown a lot...
Cool video!
Not a major leak hoovie. Don't fall for Parker's style of clickbait!
Ryukachoo I agree. 3 LEAKS?! would have been more accurate
You should buy the Bugatti Veyron that the guy drowned in a lake for insurance fraud, it will be cheap and expensive to fix hahahah
Another Day, another leak in his wallet
5000$...
More than a leak, more like a raging fire burning the notes away
Apart from the cost of fixing!! That was the best episode ever!!! 👍😂
Even if you do not like cars you have to love Hoovies. He is very entertaining.
"Oh I forgot I got a Rolls Royce", I wish I could forget having a expensive car like that 😂
Those intros are gold! ( and you forgot the fire extinguisher)
I was just about to say, "since you've got a rolls and a Ferrari, maybe you can afford a second mic.", but after your call with the Wizard, it looks like we're just going to continue to get videos where all we can hear is you. ;)
But seriously, sweet ride, congrats on the success of your channel and hope to run in to you some time in KS.
I love that all my friends thought I was crazy with the whole taste it line of thought. If it tastes like antifreeze then it's antifreeze! If it tastes like oil, it's oil! My grandpa taught me that!
Long live the Testarossa! May she live a fruitful and fire free life.
F355 will never be forgotten, that exhaust note was heavenly.
I think a little exhaust upgrade would bring that flat 12 to life!
Forget the Ferrari- Who’s Dodge Diplomat/Grand Fury?
Yeah.. I saw that.. 👍
Forget the Ferrari? It was there to give the Miami Vice look more authentic I assume.
that noise when you started it in your garage sounded like my car did just before the water pump let go. Sounds like a bearing groaning
Starter solonoid is bad perhaps oil the starter-motor
Funny cause then they mentioned the coolant leak was from water pump ...
Italian supercars! Welcome to iconic money pits! On posters in our rooms these cars were perfect! In real life though........
The white Testarossa shown in Miami Vice was the greatest looking car of all time. That paired with its sound and iconic-ness makes it my favorite car even tho I’m 16 with no posters of it in my room (yet)
love the Don Johnson jacket looking cool buddy
I love the chemistry that the wizard and yourself share
"idiosyncrasies" appears to be available if you still need a synonym!
Please change the wheels back to standard, speak to Harry from ‘Harry’s Garage’ UA-cam channel regarding tyres.
And when you're there, ask him how to say "Testarossa".
@@MrDonkrypton lol Americans have a habit of butchering almost every European name don't they.
@@hughjarreolee7821 Italian names ? And everyone including Europeans Butcher them. .. along with Aluminum... LOL
Wouldn't it be faster just to tell us everything that's NOT broken?
Pretty sure that would take MUCH longer. Name every other part on the car versus the three leaks they found.... Hmm Lol
I think Trevor meant in a humorous sense....as if the usual amount of things were broken....like most people have.
Maybe he didn't because nothing is not broken. :/
Anyone els got happy when the wiz said the rolls was done .. thank u great wizard 🧙♂️ ready for more rolls videos
When I saw that tiny coolant leak I thought the same thing as his mechanic: Leave it alone until it gets bad. A tiny amount of weepage is normal, this is why these weep holes exist on every car.
You gotta be kidding me that wasn't a murder it was suicide
"Kinda forgot I had a Rolls Royce" Hahahahahaha
Nice Cheetah
Gta
I think of Vice City every time I hear that music!
Awesome car I must admit. Your vids are getting better and better! It's great that you have a seperate car filming the driving scenes and the car in action.
lol this was great, my man wizard said i ain’t talking to no cops 🤣🤣
I own a 6 cylinder motorcycle with similar problems. Hard to start, horrible when cold. Sent the bike off to the doctors to replace the OEM coils which never had enough voltage even when new.. . Fatter spark is needed.
Is it something British or a 80's Harley?
I have a 72 BMW R60/5 and the previous owner put electronic ignition and a modern coil in it.
Taste test. Mhhhhhmmm, antifreeze.
Ah Yes, a 2013 Prestone Merlot
Awesome buy! Could definitely be worse. I'd do the oil and transmission leaks first, since they're both easy, and tackle the coolant leak when it gets worse. Provided the car is staying cool as is.
I don't know which I prefer more about Hoovie's channel; watching the awesome and hilarious retro '80s video edits or reading the ROFL comments section below on his "Oh man....not again....!" retro super car purchases!?!? Both keep me laughing continuously!!
Keep up the great work with your channel!
an inspection without using a lift isnt much of one. especially on a car you've never worked on before. either way.....Im so glad you bought it! its in good hands.....keep Parker away. A year before the engine out service anyways, so enjoy it!
Haha Americans really have a hard time with the 24h clock. "Military time", yes but also just "normal time" for other countries.
Not really, I got used to it as most time clocks at jobs are 24 hours.
@@Tyson-tz2jr
Ya! Keep telling yourself that!
@@Tyson-tz2jr America isn't even a country
Lol Americans have a hard time with it? Hardly. Just people who never had the requirement to use it. Any american in the military, law enforcement, software industry, aviation (and so much more) are very used to 24 hour time.
@@Tyson-tz2jr that's exacly the comment why everyone hates america lol.
A timing belt that requires replacement every three years?
....
Also, a timing belt?...sigh
That's precautionary because the belt is pretty long and if it slips a cog due to a little wear or breaks your looking at a junk engine. Probably 100k for a new one.
@@wernerdanler2742 but they said it was upgraded with ball bearings ... why don't upgrade this with a chain ?
But will it also go up in flames?
As long as he doesn't loan it out!
JP B Probably will with all these leaks lol.
He has purchased 40 extinguishers for it so probably not.
Perfect 80s soundtrack to accompany the gorgeous Testarossa!
The line about the mirror was great. Very subtle, but I caught it. Good work!!!
