God bless you all....Fleet Week is always something special to behold. Welcome home, if only for a little while....and thank you for keeping us all safe.
Bataan is a province located near Olongapo City in my country, where the former US Subic Naval Base was once located. In the Philippines, the letter A is pronounced as it is in the word 'apple.' When referring to USS Bataan, the correct pronunciation is Ba-ta-an (Buh-tuh-un). It is a source of pride for me as a Filipino that one of the places in my country shares its name with a warship. Bataan is significant for being the site of the infamous death march that took the lives of thousands of American soldiers and Filipinos during the war between America and Japan. One of my secret childhood dreams was to be enlisted in the US Navy but never got the chance to be part of it.
I caught that too. I was a crewchief on the older Army UH-1Hs in the 80s and 90's. He disrespected my beloved Huey's bloodline when he mis-gendered her like that.

" I can't believe they live on that ship..."
Where do they find these epsilon minuses?
Why did they leave Fort Lauderdale? Will they come back to Port Everglades in the future?
I think they plan on rotating between the cities.
@@MicroSBs Does this mean that Fort Lauderdale is losing more of her influence to Miami?
