I think this is one of the saddest, most melancholic and most underrated songs in music. History sometimes doesn't reward as it should. This is the perfect conclusion of the collaboration between Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson. The perfect final of The Alan Parsons Project
It hurts so much, to know that so much mediocre music is being consumed by people from generation today (I am 21 yrs old) while masterpieces like these get lost in time
Qué bárbaro Eric Woolfson, se sacó un 💯 con esta canción, pero además, que bella forma de interpretarla, su original e inconfundible estilo Woolfson. Mis respetos y admiración QEPD

Look into pop music history and you will find there are even worse mis-ratings. This song, in my opinion, is so underrated I find no words for it. Who'll care? It's just my opinion...
Lyrics: "Freudiana" Lead vocal: Eric Woolfson I was alone in my room feeling sorry for myself. Call me a prophet of doom, i could think of nothing else. I found a freudian book gathering dust upon my shelf. I thought i'll give it a look, would it hurt or would it help? Freudiana, do you want to be somebody? Freudiana, do you want to change the world? I met the wolfman and the ratman, anna-o and little hans. They were walking on a tightrope, i never thought they had a chance. And then a hand reached out to hold them just before they tumbled down. But i was standing in a quicksand and i could not feel the ground. Freudiana, do you want to be somebody? Freudiana, do you want to change the world? I look back and try to find the part of me i don't know. I won't stop till i see the truth. there's such a long way to go. I saw a picture of a stranger but i don't understand. He had a ring around his finger and something burning in his hand. And i wanted him to teach me and i needed to believe. But the shadows that he threw me were intended to deceive. Freudiana, do you want to be somebody? Freudiana, do you want to change the world?
Indeed.❤ When I listen tutto this I remember my best friend who suicide years ago. He was composer and a great musician. But among all things a great human being.
F the superego off, don't let the Ministery of Truth subvert you're own creative expression, free will your basic human right to the pursuit of your own happyness and satisfaction of your own basic human needs and desires. Be who you want to be, do what you want to do, ego is not a dirty word, don't let people who think they're above God infect your conciousness with the confusion of society and it's illogical world view, trust yourself and follow your own instincts and desires, they won't fail you and will lead to personal fulfilment and happyness, but follow someone else and you might just find that you'll lose your self esteem and self-identity.
I've been listening to the Alan parsons project since 1970s and they have been consistently great

The perfect final of The Alan Parsons Project
Why would it be sad? It's a song about you and I. Think about it. Underrated? Hell, yes!!!
Magical.
I finally found this album on the internet. Absolutely mesmerizing song.
One of the top lost music albums

The final collaboration between Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson. Technically but unofficially the final The Alan Parsons Project album.
Freudiana is not an Alan parsons
@@j.a.4028 What part of "technically but unofficially" did you miss?
Colossal. An inheritance.

wonderfull voice
Credo ci sia tutta l’essenza in questo brano di ciò che sono “stati” gli Alan Parson project . Brano dal forte impatto emotivo!
La parte di chitarra solo sembra quasi Pink Floyd... Cosa dire. Immenso.

Los arreglos de Parsons son increibles.

Absoluter Wahnsinn !!!!
This is a song for you to sit back and try to rest - look into what's insde you - let it out, analyse it for yourself.
I wish record companies would press this again, $190 is absurd for a CD or a record!
The end of a great voyage begins
