3 peoples silver bells have rusted :P I sang this song with my big brother Cody before he went away...I cant sing this song without tearing up now...(Not that I could before >.
I MISS ROCKAPELLA!! My kids grew up on "Where in the world is Carmen San Diego and Rockapella. I heard someone singing Silver Bells just now and told my youngest (29 yrs old) I miss hearing...and she finished the sentence...Rockapella singing it. So, here I am walking down memory lane...OH YEAH!!
lol sorry every one.. Ill say it again.. I have an mp3 of Rockapella from the album Three Bash or something like that.. In that, There is no beat boxing.. This UA-cam clip has that dude doing his beat box thing which is awesome.. I just wish that my mp3 had the beat boxing too.. Chill =]
Yeah, I see that he's got that in this video too, but that's just to pick up some of the bass resonance coming out the side of his throat. I've used a similar trick myself during beatbox performances, putting an extra mic up against my throat to pick up the low bass. The question is how on earth he simulates sleigh bells with his mouth, like at 2:17 - I've heard it done by one or two other people, but never figured out how.
Ok just gotta throw a comment in...who the hell keeps "disliking" all the rockapella videos? This is some good stuff right here...
Scott Leonard a man with jawbones that can cut through steel

I miss the original Rockapella Group. New group is alright but it's not as heartfelt.
Some envious jerk who auditioned and didn't make the group. Best theory.

jeff's bells are SUPERB.
oh yeah!
haha apparently not... sorry but im not a girl... heard of it.. just never.. dont know what it does or looks like
Yes, I know that. On the other hand, bhsbass does not seem to understand this concept.
Are you saying that the sounds Jeff makes in this video are not vocal percussion?
Okay, I was completely reading that comment wrong. My apologies to bhsbass.
I agree with you shawnamb Elliott sounds REALLY good in these videos lol
wtf is eye shadow???? haha or what the heck does it look like??? haha
this is the best version of silver bells ever!
@ladynesaia And now, Kevin is no longr with them either!
The Leader of this song looks like Owen Wilson!
you don't know what eye shadow is?? lol
Hunh?? You don't like the SONG due to the makeup???
barry carl. he is great isn't he?
Rockapellas best lineup!!
I disagree. Sean Altman WAS Rockapella. When he left, I left. Elliott is and always will be MY favorite, bt Sean made them "THEM".
IMHO..
ya! so agree!

If you get a close look at them on other vids, Jeff does have a wishbone shaped double microphone set on his throat directly over his vocal cords.
@icybear1 The best bass in an acapella group ever. I'm a second tenor, so I'm jealous of his cool, low voice.
Glorious, Absolutely Glorious, I would Give anything to meet Scott Leonard, and sing with Him.
Wow, Rockapella is awesome. By far the best A Capella group out there. I can't stop listening to these guys!
Ring a ling, Ring a ling, Ring aling, Ring a Ling- Amazing. Yes Scott, Get it!!!
Yeah! It sounds so real! As if you were watching a Christmas movie!
where did you hear "I heard the bells on christmas day"?
It's on Rockapella's 2000 CD - "Rockapella Christmas"
