- Today we are visiting another MUST see in Italy, Milan's Cathedral (Duomo di Milano).
While we were astonished by the beauty of the place and by the interesting things there were to discover, things didn’t really go according to the plan.. 🙉

I visited the Duomo years ago while traveling with a high school choir as their accompanist. At the time, it was surrounded by scaffolding. It's nicer without! It's too bad you couldn't go in. I remember the shopping mall you visited and it's beautiful, too. (Looked more crowded than when I visited.) I purchased something at a grocery store in there and was given a free bottle of balsamic vinegar. Little did I realize the superb quality of the vinegar until I tried replacing it back in the States! I've never found any as good. 🙂 Also, I remember how hot Italy was and that was in June. I can't even imagine what August must be like!

Milano is beautiful. Love the architecture of the buildings, absolutely beautiful. So much history there. Yes, you should of stayed there til Nathalie came back with the coffee, instead of looking for her. Totally cool about your followers and seeing them worldwide. Says alot about you two. Ciao Stefano Natalia no c'è solo il Duomo c'è zona Brera le colonne di San Lorenzo Santa Maria delle grazie dove c'è affresco di Leonardo dell'ultima cena il parco Sempione il castello Sforzesco il museo della scienza e tecnica in via San Vittore via Manzoni ecc e questo è solo una parte delle bellezze di Milano. Buona visita io sono a Lerici vicino a Spezia

Ah, i giri sulle palle del toro dovete rifarli! Vanno fatti in equilibrio sul solo tallone destro! Ciao bella couple! Traveled to Milan several yrs ago in the winter after fabulous scaire trip. I hate to say it but Milan was not our favorite city in Italy. We have been everywhere over 20 trips to Italy. The hotel and restaurant workers were not the happiest or kind people and saw some shady dealings going on in a park nearby but we still LOVE Italy

Hello, is it possible to carry a tripod inside the Duomo, not using it inside, but just carrying it for other purposes outside ?
Hello Amira! Yes you should be able to bring it in without problems. It’s Drones that they don’t allow them at all. Bags and cameras as well they might not be the happiest to let you in. The least you have while you go to Duomo, the more sure you’ll be to enter!

Being a "milanese" i know you must have spend a crazy amount of money to eat lunch in that restaurant close to Piazza dell Scala. Too much touristic area, I would have suggested some other places, for sure less touristic, with affordable prices and taste.
