I just got my Yorkie spayed 2 days ago and she's NOT feeling this cone either. I will def have to order this suit.
Ivy is super cute! My girl (Poppy) is 4 months and I plan to get her spayed, she too is a yorkie.
Your supposed to wait till after first or 2nd heat. To let them mature.
@@Herdingandhounds Thank you for your reply. Per my vet, my dog was spayed (7 mo) before her first heat. She will be 1 year old next month (Jan) and she is fine. Poppy is not my first dog. I did the same for my first dog and she lived to be 15 yrs old.
I'll be getting my 8-month-old Morkie spayed very soon, and I'm so nervous as well. Because of the surgery itself, but also because this is my first dog as an adult too and I'm nervous and worried about my capabilities to look after her as she recovers 😩. There is so much to learn as a new dog owner. Your video gave me some ease, so thank you very much. Ivy is adorable, btw 😍 ❤

I have a Yorkie and she is 3.8 pounds. I am having so much anxiety about getting her spayed before she turns 1. Idk what to do. I read so many things about how they can still get other cancers by getting fixed.
It’s not a must to spay a dog! The chances of having cancer is 50/50, no matter if you spay a dog or not! From what I’ve heard - if your dog feels ok during her “special” days, it’s ok to leave everything as it is. And there’s no need to have puppies, if you don’t want or if the dog is too small.
In most cases those surgeries are just profit for the vets.
@@HomeHunter-in-Moscow There is a huge risk of pyometra if you do not get your dog spayed. This can result in death if you dont get an emergency surgery. My dog is 7 years old, she got spayed yesterday…our vet called us after her spay and said when she opened her up there was mucus inside of her.. which are the first early signs of pyometra. Her vet said we were just in time.
How old is ivy now? Today is July 12,2022 I'm waiting to get my yorkie as well they were born June 25th so I have to wait until September before I get her or him

Her tail is docked due to her breeder following the AKC standards for yorkies since she’s registered.
