    For those that didn’t understand, the 50 mil is for “upkeep”. Being able to provide the services that his company does is not cheap!! What’s more important than the 50 mil is the fact that there’s a tangible relationship with apple that is priceless. So no, the artist won’t get a cut..but the plan is to provide them with the best possible group of individuals, corporations, and “industry insiders” at a fraction of the cost of a major label, while allowing the artists to keep the integrity of their IPs. It’s a great look if you ask me!! Stout is a 🐐

      It’s a tough sell. Ppl can say whatever they want, but overall all the major artist of today across all genres are signed to some type of major label or “partnership” as they like to say. Rather they get radio play or not the exposure and back office support they get makes it worth it. The terms of what they sign is what should be the focus not the idea of them signing overall.

And like I said in my last post just because you sign you don’t automatically sign over everything. It’s all in the terms of whatver deal you have. There’s so many aspects of where your signing besides just what you said. It’s really not that simple and black and white. I don’t know why ppl generally don’t understand that.
