I was lucky enough to go on this attraction as a kid. I loved seeing a giant animatronic in person, it was really scary and fun!

Yess, I’ve been waiting for you to cover this one! This was my favorite as a kid. I may even still have my old pressed penny from this ride. But, tbh, Revenge of the Mummy (Orlando) is one of my favorite rides ever.. I completely understand the love/hate duality.

Yessss! I concur most assuredly. This was one of the main rides that epitomized *Ride the Movies* back in the day. And I even disliked the 1976 _King Kong_ that it represented but loved t he ride! Thanks for the behind the scenes footage of the animatronic. I've never seen that before, wherever did you find it? Just like I said about Jaws, with lessons learned and 2024 engineering I refuse to believe a better working ride couldn't be built today.

The only highlight of that attraction besides the queue is the animatronic Kong at the end.
