It’s June 7th, I’m in bed and I though “hey, hiking to the Hollywood sign sounds like a great idea” any tips you can give me? I’ve hiked it before during the day but not at night.
I do not recommend going up the Hollywood Sign or Mt Lee at night. First of it is now closed after sundown. Second, with increased wildlife in the area it is definitely NOT safe to be alone in the dark. There are hundreds of coyotes and at least one mountain lion.

You can drive up to a closed gate on Deronda Dr and then it's a 1.5 mile hike to the top.
