i see you are making a small mistake here. the reason your teammates were dying to this boss often was not using automatic weapons. automatic weapons that fire lot of bullets in a short time cause stagger to the enemy which prevents them from firing or drastically slows their firing capabilities. For my fight with the APEX Leader, i had AR, SMG, MG, DMR (1 each) and Marcus Cage was having a hard time taking his shots at me. this is also beneficial when he deploys some 6 or 8 APEX Air Drones onto you. The slow firing weapons are not recommended for low mobility boss fights (bosses other than the destroyer and wilder king are all low mobility bosses). you may want to consider using SR or SG for high mobility bosses (Destroyer and Wilder King).

I obsessed the long range which boss can't touch me and the Relatively high single shot damage. after all, I was not waiting for my team to fully prepared for Marcus Cage. I was CHALLENGE him when my squad ability is way to lower to him even I have my hard to clean the Apex Camp before going in
Beating him was kinda easy, i just used firing position and used shotgun and snipers, used focus fire in his face, he died in 5 minutes and my teammates didn't die
i killed him idk when but i killed by "MODE:SELFSAVING"(its not a mod.i had adrenaline)When i came 1st time,i scared and run away.2nd time,i ran away again. BUT in 3rd time i wrecked him im 5-10 min.I had HARDEST BATTLE EVER.(P.S,i had multiple times hardest battles too,but this Attack on Marcus Cage was my first time)
