Loved it! Bill's ability to simplify complex topics and provide broad systemic solutions and also make it understood to a common person is just mind blowing ❤️
Glad someone bought it up,I remember scott mcnealy trashing Microsoft and embracing open source and the anti trust lawsuit they’d fought against Microsoft,it was good times and so much of cut throat competition
The world is a mixture of the educated and relatively privilaged or middle-class and on the other hand the poor and impoverished. It's mostly the middle class that has evolved into disliking violence, have become more sensitive but the poor can't afford the luxery, to be sensitive, they have to be hardier to survive. While most of the rich got up there, the top of the privilage ladder by being cut throat, so they don't want to be sensitive because they'd then have to give up their wealth from wars, weapons, and related corrupt buissenesses, they spread the " claw your way to the top if you're Elite material" be cut throat, walk over everyone, putting yourself first. In the past, more civilized and humanely decent societies believed in "self last" grace, chivalry ,justice, truthfulness, honesty. Humanitarian principles have been rejected by the Greed class. Which has created a dystopia.
It's refreshing to hear what Bill Gates has done and is doing. I've read his book 'Business at the Speed of Thought' back in 2000, and it's cool to see how what he predicted then, is now a common place. But money talks.... alot can be done with money. He had a vision to have a computer in every home ..... and did that. Although Open Source software and hardware is better for everyone, and making everything free so then it doesn't have to be duplicated over is better. At the end of the talk he was asked what he visions for the next 10 years from now. It's worth taking time to watch the whole thing. ... the best part of it was when he said that 'he does not watch TV' so that frees up alot of time todo better things like watching documentaries and reading books and learning from others. (BTW learning for free) :-)
Okay you made a comment 5 months back, but I can’t get this level of bull shit slide. It is a chat, not an interview. Why would Vinod be an interviewer when it is a chat ?? And put some respect on his name. I don’t think you are aware of the impact he has had not only on Silicon Valley but the world!

What some younger folks may not know, these two went at each other back in the early 2000s like two titans. MS vs SUN was the battle once.

- Having a top-down approach is sometimes more imp than bottoms-up approach
- Focus on the right things
East & West Bill Sir is the Best.
Vinod is my idol
I don't know either but if you state that then he has to be a great mentor.
thanks for sharing Khosla Ventures
I'm like Peter Robinson's father without the education and connections.
Also, Shrimp's father explains things better than my uncle's arithmetic.
Oh, Billingsey.
I absolutely relate to project management.
Vinod needs to stop this whole beach closure debacle, not a good reflection on him

- Haskell and other functional programming.
They don't see T-shirt designs.
It's very strange when I'm terrified of ugly graphics online.

I can learn how to get more ways a d improve to beneficial plan than can make changes .
I would love to compete against Accelerated Reader.
It has random questions.
30:00 Books
I'd have to dream of competing against Shrimp's father as well.
I would have to study a lot in California.
I still need to study how he asks and replies.
Bill on the concept of TIME: 26:00
Also, Peter Robinson seems to have a ghostwriter.
❤❤❤💚💚💚
❤❤❤❤❤
The Princeton Review has the best Calculus book for $4.
The Armenian also had the 818 or whatever phone code.
Lol, Shrimp's mom is like my aunt. Manual labor.
Hm...
It depends on how well they serve females and children.
15:35 - really, toilets?! While people are chomping away on sausages.
Hm.
Encarta is not that popular anymore,
so any educational company could have its try at being better than it.
“The taste is fantastic “ are u kidding me? This is the huge difference between a crow and a Phoenix. since when “乌鸦变了凤凰?”

I didn't understand Encarta following CNN Student News.
Try not to be associated with CNN.
Vinod Khosla talks way too much...... stop giving your opinions you are only the interviewer not being interviewed
