Garibenga V is a show that features comedian Kotoge Eiji and various VTubers. Okayu was being her usual troll self. Kotoge usually plays the tsukkomi (straight man), and you could see that on full display here. A surprising but welcome rapport.

Honestly Okayu would do well on these shows as she can reply pretty fast and funny, also these opportunities could help her evolve into a even more dangerous prankster towards her peers Lol
She has the ability to be either of the Boke or Tsukkomi roles, but I think being Boke is Okayu's strength for this kind of comedy.
She seems to have Conan level wits!

Seeing VTubers next to real people is kind of surreal, but those moments result in a lot of the clips we enjoy like this one

If you've seen Fubuki host a show a few months back it's even more surreal. There wasn't a line separating them so it's more jarring a bit. Same with botan
There's also Calli with the Trash Taste boys, but in this case Okayu's (and other's) model is 3D which makes it even more surreal

True tbh. Most catgirl potrayed in animes are cheerful and acts playfully while in reality most house cats are lazy and sleeps all the time, which kinda resembles Okayu's personality who is more laid-back

It's pretty crazy how different OkaKoro behaves in social events. During the Sonic event, Korone was shy & nervous as hell, but here, Okayu was (as said in the video) cool as a cucumber. The difference is night & day.

@@SometimesHappy In comedy acts there's an act that requires a pair who are known as a tsukkomi and a boke. Tsukkomi is what we'd called the 'straight man', while the boke is the 'funny man'.
We always knew she could play the boke with the rest of SMOK or FAMS or OKFAMS, but seeing it with another person just feels so authentic

This is the kind of stuff I'd watch if I lived in Japan. Just give me news that's presented by Vtubers and comedians and Saya on the weather. Then I'd have no problem to keep up to date with events.

As someone who's already sorta familiar with Kotoge (from seeing him as a guest every once in a while in Gaki no Tsukai or related shows), it's kinda crazy to see him and Hololive in the same clip.

I'm impressed they can handle live interviews by pros so well, since they're normally in their own home, doing their own thing alone. These are talented ladies.
Many of this girls came from irl tv. Okayu, Polka, Coco are a few who worked on tv before joining hololive.
This made me realize how awkward it must be for normies to interview vtubers that mostly just stream videogames (either because that's their main activity like Hololive Gamers, or because of the pandemic limits their other activities.) Like, what else are you going to ask Okayu, other than her bio? It's not like they can just start openly talking about their "normal" off-character activities. Kudos to Kotoge for knowing how to improvise from Okayu's sassy responses.

I will give congrats to Okayu but also to the comedian who id older and more experienced and made the discussion flow. You do not realize that Hololive Members are pretty young (20-40) until you have them talk with middle aged(50-70) or old (over 70) adults and see the difference in their behaviors.
