Heard it again. The esraj is outstanding. And the raag is probablyYaman-Bhupali--especially where the esraj hits the higher notes. And Anusheh's voice reminds me of the most powerful black women singers--Whitney Houston? And there are so many others.

Asadharon. Asadharon. Mainly set to Raag Yaman. Beautiful rendering. Not heavily commercialized. By drawing out the words, she emphasizes how 'manav janam' is so precious, so very meaningful. The song, the unique notes that make up the Raag Yaman and the outstanding Esraj, makes me feel as though the music is coming out from the very earth itself, and rising to the heavens. Wonderful, wonderful!
Once again, the esraj adds a dimension that is not available in recorded versions that sell in India. The esraj has an eloquence that adds immeasurably to the short lyric. Rabindrasangeet too gains a great deal if esraj accompanies a competent singer.

This is the beauty of this kind of language. My main point of reference for undertaking and attempting this translation was my experience over quite a few years of translating bhakti shongeet with my Bangladeshi Goudiya Boishnob friends who follow in the tradition of Chaitanya = Gouranga = sonar Gour. Neither their English nor my Bangla are really that good so I was just doing the best I could with additional help from some native speaker friends online and the Sylheti guys from the restaurant around the corner. I would love to know how else it could be translated. I think that this translation must remain as it is and should be renamed "Vaishnava Translation" or something. I'd consider creating multiple videos of this song with an alternative translations if people comes up with any especially if the mood and the sentiment of the translation makes sense to me.

Now, it may started from Baisnab origin, and specially from Gouranga Mahaprabhu. But similarly its populer among many sadhaks, Aaul, Baul, Fakir, Darbesh. Now Bengal is a strange mixture, among the songs there are 2 or more meanings. One is in outside another inside. The incide opens in sadhan marg by proper Gurus (teachers). This Bengal's philosophy is a strange mixture of Vedik, Buddhist, Islamist, Tantra, attheist, spiritual, aspiritual etc. Its a strange place of mixture. From outside you will not understand this. Uppon following and mixing this comes to observation. This is a strange land. Even Bengali and East Indian people are different antropologically than others parts of India 😯 Actually all main Indian races mixes here, then mutation occurs and form a new antropological race. Similarly culturs also mixed, and fused. This land did ancient trades, and adventures, all main ports of Ancient India were at 3 places South West Bengal, Keral, Gujrat and Sindh.
