This Homily was given by Father David Wilton C.P.M of the Fathers of Mercy at the Chapel of Divine Mercy in Auburn, KY. on January 9 2022.
The Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy was founded in 1808, originally under the title of “The Missionaries of France.” The community was founded for the purpose of re-evangelizing the people of France after the Catholic Faith had been subjected to years of attacks and persecution during the French Revolution. It is now exclusively an American community. The Generalate of the congregation is located in Auburn, Kentucky. The primary apostolate of the Fathers of Mercy is to conduct parish missions and retreats throughout the United States and other countries when called upon. The congregation also staffs rural parishes in the Archdiocese of Louisville, Kentucky.

The food within, provides nourishment. We are souls, temporarily housed in our bodies.
We must get our priorities straight.
Many people are praying for the end of the epidemic and want a sign or a miracle. But the Lord is tired of our sins.This perverse generation are going to paid the price.

Thank you Father, I have had the wuhaun covid 19 and currently have the omicron covid19. I will not get the vaccine and have come through both variants healthy and whole.
I decided to keep Jesus in the front seat no matter what. My trust in Jesus is complete and fear not!! God knows when I will leave this earth, I look forward to my home in Heaven. Great sermon, God bless!!🙏🏻♥️

This is why I thanked my mother at her funeral for raising me in the Catholic Church. I miss the church before Covid. Open the churches and stop the madness. I went the other day and Monsignor asked me why I was there. I came to pray because it was empty and I didn't have to endure rules to get into the church.

Thank you Father for speaking of a marriage being sacramental after baptism.My husband was a non Catholic but we married in the Catholic Church,4 years later he made his baptism and confirmation the same day our 2 child was baptised,I always hoped that after his baptism our marriage became sacramental,sounds like it is ..we have been married now for 21 years 🙏🏻

Well said. If the priests would just unite and refuse to yield to secularism we would have the strength needed to defeat satan. We need the clergy to stand up and be counted and serve us and as Jesus said to Peter, ; " Feed my sheep ". No more church closures and denying the sacraments to us whether we are well, sick or dieing.

Amen! This scademic has nearly everyone running scared. I wonder where's the faith. We can't escape death. Where, when or how we don't know not our choice.
Maybe the vax will stop you from entering heaven! When my church closed, I resigned from our church council and the two church wardens resigned also. When it eventually opened I refused to wear a mask and said, we can't believe in the same God. My God gave me two immune systems one bacterial and the other viral, now also known as exosomes, a part of your immune system!
It was a scamdemic from day one I told everyone I saw, they just thought I was nuts.

I love your homilies but i have just one comment. 25 deg negative is very cold. In such temperature snow is well frozen and hard. One may easily walk on surface and doesn't sink down. It's named dry winter conditions
