It was very fitting that American chose a 737 for its TWA heritage jet. Both airlines chose Boeing aircraft to enter the jet age - with the Boeing 707.
They have 4 vintage 737 liveries, and PSA, Allegheny, Piedmont and US Airways are the others on the A320 family. Excellent catch! I hope I can see this TWA livery one day. Merry Christmas :D

American recently introduced four brand new A321s with those retro liveries.

American has one; an Airbus A319 inherited from US Airways.
Yes I am aware of that. But American doesn't have a 737 for them. BTW American is getting rid of the 737s soon. :-(
