This song takes me back to a time I had at Butlins in the 60's. There was a bar with a jungle theme, trees,vines and grass everywhere, with small private seating areas surrounded by a magical forest.. I was with my wife to be and Maria Elena drifted through our little world, It was absolutely awesome, probably the best time of my life. Thank you for posting and rekindling such precious memories.

" English" I remember this sweet music since it was published in 1952 by the Los Indios Tabajaras. I was 14 then, I am 72 now. The two guitarists are very good. Los Indios Tabajaras. In 1962 they achieved great success all over the world with the revival of the song María Elena which they had released four years earlier and composed in 1936 by Lorenzo Barcelata.
My brother introduced our family to the original two brothers who found a guitar in Brazil and learned to play them, then became famous around the world...thanks for your version!

There are no words I can say to the surprise I experienced when I came up on this site with you two playing Maria Elena. You guys are incredible!!!!! 今晩は。私はUA-camの大ファンです‼️と言うのは以前ロスインディオスタバハラスの「マリアエレーナ」のコメントを送りましたが、私にとって音楽そのものがジャンルを問わず好きですね。その時の感情の赴くまま聞く事が出来ると言う事が我が人生に於いて素晴らしいものであるからですね。ある時はJAZZを聞くまた、ミッチミラー合唱団の迫力ある曲を聞いたり、時にはハワイアンでのスチールギターを聞き心を和まされ、演歌、J-POPを聞いては若かりし頃、よくカラオケで歌ったものでした。歌のない歌謡曲ではトランペットやテナーサックス、ギター、ドラム、そして琴で演奏してる日本の叙情歌、ソウルミュージック、特にビートルズ他、オールディズの曲など良くディスコミュージックも気分転換に良く聞きましたね。インストールメンタルではピリーヴォーン、パーシーフェイス、ポールモーリア、101ストリングス、フランクプゥルセル、マントヴァーニ、などなどまぁ映画音楽が多かったですね。最近の自分は今70歳ですが若かりし頃の思い出の曲を口ずさんだり、今どきのDA PUMPのUSAなどノリノリの曲を聞いて日々の活力にしています😁音楽は自分にとって最高の良薬ですね😊これからもUA-camさんの音楽情報を楽しみに又残された人生の思い出の曲を口ずさみながら楽しんでいきたいと思っています。更に素晴らしい企画を期待しています‼️
