That was a big hit, a big explosion that destroyed everything in its path, a big catastrophe for this beautiful city. Beirut has seen destruction and ruins before but the resilience and the spirit of its people has helped to rebuilt it again. Beirut, beautiful Beirut, Paris of the Midddle East, let's hope this is the last time you suffer destruction of this magnitude, let's hope this is the last time you suffer any destruction of any kind. Beirut, beautiful Beirut, stand on your feet again, you can do it, you've done it before. It may take a few years but you can do it. The world is with you, the world will help you to become a great and beautiful city again. One of my wishes is to come and visit you one day. When I come I want you to look your best beautiful Beirut. (I was born in Limassol, Cyprus, 180km away from beautiful Beirut, but I live in Australia.)
I'm Brazilian and I love this music, I love Lebanese culture, cuisine and especially its people, Brazil is home to the largest Lebanese community in the world, 7 million Brazilians with Lebanese blood and ethnic Lebanese live in Brazil, and the Lebanese brought a lot of its cuisine and culture to Brazil and we love it, I can say that Brazil and Lebanon have a beautiful and unbreakable bond, the Lebanese were and will always be welcome to Brazil!🇧🇷🇱🇧 Hugs to all Lebanese.
A curious fact is that there are more descendants of Lebanese and ethnic Lebanese living in Brazil than Lebanese in Lebanon itself, there are several famous Brazilians with Lebanese ancestry, we have had a president who is the son of Lebanese and currently the vice president of Brazil also has Lebanese ancestors!

I don't understand arabic but i started listening to such music since i was 5 year old. I can memorize many arabic oldies and one of my fav is SANARJIOU by fayrouz.. love from malaysia
it is Concerto de Aranjuez by Rodrigo Joquin, the story of his life is heartbrekaing like this music
What Beautiful song , i hope to visit this country someday..greeting from France.🇫🇷❤️🇱🇧

Beautiful song. Greetings from Poland. Liban, do not give up! 🇵🇱
Tak, coś pięknego
This song is like a prayer with Fairuz angel's voice. Listening to it I'm so sad for all victims.
Praying to Allah for quick recovery of those injured and blessings for those who passed away. Inshallah 🇱🇧🇵🇰
Inch'Allah ❤️🥺🇱🇧
I'm Brazilian and I love this music, I love Lebanese culture, cuisine and especially its people, Brazil is home to the largest Lebanese community in the world, 7 million Brazilians with Lebanese blood and ethnic Lebanese live in Brazil, and the Lebanese brought a lot of its cuisine and culture to Brazil and we love it, I can say that Brazil and Lebanon have a beautiful and unbreakable bond, the Lebanese were and will always be welcome to Brazil!🇧🇷🇱🇧
Hugs to all Lebanese.
Beautiful song and very emotional performants of Fairuz , the beautiful melody is from Rodrigo's Conserto of Aranjues for gitarre second part. One of the most beautiful melody compost. This is the most emotional and the best version of this composition.
Jean-Michel
Beirut will stand up more beautiful than ever. Our hearts, tears and hopes are with you brothers and sisters.
With Love from Iran... Iranian people.
This song makes me cry although I don't understand any word. I pray for you Lebanon.

I don't understand the lyrics.. but ... I sure can FEEL her words and soul through this beautiful music ❤️💗.... Just beautiful.
I am thinking of the tragedy of Beirut... Fairuz expresses so much love through this song...

@@user-ux8pj3rf4w the same I'm not Lebanese but being human first being Arabic being Muslims make us feel the same ache, Lebanon's people will surpass this one just like they did for the past ones,
I can say they used to lick their wounds it just matter of time and they will get through this and it will be just a memory from past Inshallah.

" Li Beirut "
Li Beirut, Min qalbi salamon li Beirut
Wajhou bahharen qadeemi
Au visage d'un ancien marin
Hiya men rouhi shaabi khamron
Elle est, de l'âme du peuple, du vin
Hiya men aaraqihi khobzon wa yassamin
Fa kayfa sara ta3mouha
Alors comment est devenu son gout
Taama naren wa doukhani ?
Un gout de feu et de fumée ?
Li Beirut, Majdon men ramadin
À Beyrouth, une gloire des cendres
Li Beirut, Men damen li waladen
À Beyrouth, d'un sang à un enfant
Houmila fawqa yadiha
Qui a été porté sur sa main
Atfaat madinati qendeelaha
Li Beirut, Men qalbi salamon li Beirut
Anti li, anti li, Ah aaniqeeni anti li
Tu es à moi, tu es à moi, Ô enlace-moi, tu es à moi
Rayati wa hajarou el ghadi wa mawjou safaren
Azharat jirahou shaabi azharat
Anti Beirut li, Anti li
Tu es à moi Beyrouth, tu es à moi
Ah Beirut 3aneeqeeni
Ô Beyrouth, enlace-moi

One of the best songs in the world. Timeless
Beirut when my father worked there but Beirut Music in his opinion was even much better. For me (outsider probably) very nice music. Arabia is too big large or to know. or to judge, Allah knows. From Budapest.
I spent so many summers there...one of my favorite cities in the world! ❤️
