Got into boxing and COMPLETE LY lost the strength and flexibility in my hips and ham and ubductors and the rotation in my hips is now terrible... I've been training in capoeira for the past year bit when it comes to leg work it will always be taekowndo based.. this will help me regain my kick speed!!!

Awesome video. I've been doing taekwondo for over 30 something years ( the 80s ) and hold a 2nd degree black belt in it. Of course, I moved on to earning a black belt in goju ryu karate and must say I'm really impressed with your video. Keep up the videos young lady!

What's amazing about this video is pretty much every routine you demonstrated here, i do myself. The only one you reminded me of is attaching resistance while kicking. I can't wait to try that one when train tomorrow. Thanks for sharing, keep up the good work. I admire your determination.👊
Great video! Im gonna try all od that❤️ The "exploding from the floor" one, i did something similar once... Was basically the dame, but as soon as i landed i had to jump as high as i could and drive my knees up to the chest... And when i landed from that i would leap foward as far as i could, again trying to "lead with the knees"... Another exercise i do is "over comming isometricsc" of kicks... I stand in a doorway and chamber agaimst one of the sides trying to kick throught it... Then i stand in a small hallway my back is against one wall, and my foot is on the other wall... About 50% of the kick extention but trying to extend it against the wall... Then i stand in one doorway that is in front of another where i can estend my leg slmost completly and i try to push it with my kick... With those i do 10 seconds as hard as i can... Then "explode into them from the same position for about 3 to 6 seconds a few times(3 to 5 times usually) then i try to push as hard as i can for a whole minute... Ive heard it activates 97% of the muscles involved in the movement at any angle you are practicing it, ± 15°... Wich means that right of the chamber ± 15° my kick is almost as strong as it can be... When its at mid extention ±15°it is almost as strong as it can be..., and when its almost at full extention ±15° (wich includes full extention) its almost thr strongest it can be... Im doing it only with my front kick right now... And i can kick harder than some people a few weight divisions above me xD(last time i kicked someone heavier than me, who was in a solid fighting stance, he fell back almost 3m away... 1.5m in the air plus landing out of balance and doing a few steps back plus falling on his back... I felt like an anime character when i did that!

Great drills! But I would caution beginners about hyperextension of the knee on the fast kicks. When you're young you might get away with it, but it catches up with you eventually. Beginners should early on develop a good habit of stopping kicks with the knee very slightly bent for longevity in the art. That said, thank you for your videos. Despite my 26 years of tkd experience I have enjoyed implementing some of your drills I never would have thought of in my classes. Keep up the good work!
I recommend stamina drain. Or do taekwondo. Taekwondo maintained my weight because of all the exercises. It's practically a full body exercise since they make you stretch and do kicking,jog,etc.
@@flifluflofli NO !, i mean i plan on aiming for ankles 'n knee's when striking with my feet, i was trying to ask if there was some way i could use a punching bag to help train that movement into a Normalised, fluent, effortless & powerful movement B4 training it into a Reflex Reaction ?.
Stealth Wolf she said to do sprints, she didn’t show herself doing sprints because everyone knows what sprints look like. She never said to replace sprints with knee/hand ups, she straight up said to first do sprints, then follow that with the knee ups.
