This doesn’t capture how electric the live performance was but it did manage to take me back to being in the audience. Though I may not understand all the lyrics I can definitely feel them. The story telling is phenomenal, at 3:33 I can hear the heartbreak in their voices, so soft and beautifully fragile and this contrasts perfectly with the harsh powerful vowels they use in some of the following phrases. A great piece and from what I remember from the convention at least half of them were new to barbershop with less than 2 years singing. Cannot wait to see them again 💛
