It’s so helpful when you describe what your not happy with. It encourages me to be more critical of my drawings, and not to feel dissatisfied when I make mistakes. If an accomplished artist as you are, can make mistakes, then I shouldn’t worry that I can get things wrong. By the way….. I can see just how much I have improved since following all your daily tutorials. So encouraging Stephen. You really have made me more observant, and ENJOYING my drawing so much more. My family remark often how much I’ve improved! Can’t be bad Eh :)

Day 10. Followed your advice about watching the video first. Not sure it made a difference 😅 (definitely about me not you) but what did make a difference is that I just dove in and drew, forgot warmup or obs again! And what I didn't notice was that you can't see the top of the back right lamp and I was in a quandary when I got to that!😱 Because I think that I spaced the lamps too far apart and so it looks like you should see the top of that one in my drawing. However despite wonky vertical lines (maybe thats my style 😅) I liked the final result a lot more than Windsor castle. Wish I could post my pic in a comment here, but I'll keep posting reels.
Haha. It’s what works for you in the end that’s best. Renee, that was my second go if the lamps. I often say it’s easier second go, and I proved it to myself again. It’s all learning. Keep analysing your process and progress and let it guide you.
