Thanks for posting Kurt. I had the once in a lifetime thrill of seeing the group led by the # 11 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta as I was out driving my targa on I-125 near Granby. The sound!! As a red and yellow teardrop came screaming down the highway at me, I thought 'what is this strangely painted shape bellowing down the road?' A unicorn at full gallop in its preferred pasture!! Then followed the rest of the Ferraris and P cars and all sorts of amazing shapes and colors from the 50's. What a thrill for a kid that grew up with dad rebuilding his Sunbeam Alpine on the side of the house. Someday, I'll drive the Colorado Grand, and seeing that Le Mans winning Ferrari in action pushed me over the top.
Glad you enjoyed the Colorado Grand passing by, the 1959 Ferrari 250 LWB Competition TDF was built as a road and track car and was raced in Europe at Nürnberg ring and Le Mans…
